Give us the deal bruh. Pick one with the best price

  • +4

Which ones are actually on sale?

  • +14

I even went all the way to the checkout page with different umbrellas and the code doesn't even apply correctly. Nothing is discounted even with the code.

    • +1

Works for me, Metro down to $90.30.

    • +2

OP didn't even submit the deal properly with the code in the code section.

I tried black UV and it didn't work but a basic red umbrella had 30% off

    • +1

Agreed. Blunt is so terrible with this

  • Some random classics are $104

  • This "deal" is "Blunt"

  • Did not work with Sport range.

  • +7

$229 for an umbrella. Why do y'all even need to come on to OzBargain?

    • -1

Because I was gonna pay that amount for their tempus

    • I'd be waiting by the door looking at rain radar, eagerly waiting to bust out my blunt umbrella.

      • I have an unhealthy obsession with them. Glad I bought the classics when they were sub $100 and they’ve lasted me years

      • You can use them in the sun too, so that covers most days :)

    • Why do y'all even need to come on to OzBargain?

I love how…..blunt….you are with this comment

  • +1

Sport 50% off and free delivery. Not the easiest deal to check but that is a sharp price

    • +2

which ones? i tried navy and black and both seem to do nothing
edit: NVM, created account with blunt instead of using SHOP and the code worked

  • I have the Metro which I got as a gift and it’s great. It broke the other day, however has a 4 year warranty, so they supplied a shipping label for repair.

    • +7

I have a 5 dollar woolies one that is still going strong after 5 years

      • Ditto for my $15 Amazon one

        • +3

I have a $30 umbrella that's been going well for me, but I also don't think there's much point in everyone sharing their umbrella anecdotes. people use umbrellas at a different frequency, and in different conditions. the only worthwhile comparison is one in a controlled environment.

          • @beltdrive: Years of typical weather constitutes a pretty controlled environment on average though. If basic umbrellas are holding up for people then its relevant information.

            • @gakko: disagree. someone might drive everywhere and only use an umbrella occasionally, another person might walk everywhere and use their umbrella often

              • @beltdrive: I'll hold out for your paper in the international journal of umbrology then

So no good for self defence

During my research a few years ago, I found there were other brands out there that had similar levels of wind resistance/testing, larger opened diameter and smaller closed dimensions for less money. The Blunt umbrellas look nice and that design is certainly unique but I'd suggest checking out other brands too

      Sooo what were they?

      • +1

Doppler, Knirps. Hopefully that might redeem my terrible sins in my reply

        • Also Clifton

    • +2

dont keep us hanging bro. tell us

  • +2

My spendhappy ozbargain fingers were seriously itching for this…and then I reminded myself that I could buy 10 Bunnings brollies for the price of the discounted Sport.

Upvoted anyway thanks for testing me OP

    • well played

  • +3

The best way to check for discounts is to proceed through the checkout page until you input the code. Then back out to the main product page and add your new item. It will show the discount in the cart.

    E.g. sport black/grey is 50% off

  • +1

all the limited edition ones are 50% off

    • The Karen Walker LE one I tried was 30% off.

    • Picked up the Kelly Thompson for $84.95, 50% off.

It’ll make a good Christmas gift for an aunt.

  • Have had two Blunt metro umbrellas. That line does flip/invert in wind. And had one snap despite the marketing. But they are strong.

For a company with 'sustainability' and a self-serve repair guide, I wish they sold replacement parts for their apparently indestructible brollies.

    • +1

My 5YO blunt failed with a broken wire that holds the frame to the shaft. Blunt sent me a new wire (yea I know 10c) and I fixed it using their guide. I assume if something more substantial failed they would be able to offer replacements.

    • warranty replacement? not fit for purpose?

  • +1

I tried Metro UV and discount code didn't work.

FYI, they're available on eBay for $99.30 for Metro or $91.52 for UV from Peters of Kensington

  • +1

Not all colours of the metro are on special. The code brought black down to about 90 but not the navy. I’m happy to pay good price for quality items but not THAT much. Stuff that.

    • the kenita-lee is 50% off at $74.50. but that colour definitely isnt for everyone..

      • +1

Parks & puddles blue and green are cheaper at $69.50 which are more palatable colours but 10.50 shipping. Given that these have been cheaper at Catch earlier in the year, I’m going to pass.

  • Thanks, copped a classic park green for $85 shipped

  • Got a puddle blue metro for $74.50 delivered, happy with that. Thanks OP

  • +8

"The products that are 50% off are:
    - end of line SPORTS
    - Parks & Puddles range
    - Kenita-Lee
    - Karen Walker
    - Lemon & Honey
    - Saben
    - Kelly Thompson
    - Jungle & Safari"

    • Source? I'm seeing 30% off on the Karen Walker Metro in Ecru/Chestnut

      • Trust me bro..

That was the response from customer support

        YMMV

hopefully it helps save some time searching for what is on sale..

        • Thanks, I was thinking of contacting customer support to see if they can adjust the discount haha

        • I've received an update from a customer support rep:

"apologies, I was incorrect. The Karen Walker & Lemon Honey are 30% off."

  • +1

I got a limited edition classic green for $84.50 delivered. Thanks OP

  • +2
