Should I be worried that brightness is 250cd/m ?? Sounds very dim, but then this is OLED - so not sure
About 5kg lighter that their x490 model

Amazon also have their 49" OLED in a 240Hz refresh speed at $1778, but about $225 shipping through Amazon, so kills that deal.
However, the PrismPlus Australia store has the 240Hz model at $1754
(with code BLACKFRI45) - discounted from $2449 + about $90 shipping for me.

Prism are known to have fake RRPs. They're inflated high to make it seem like an arbitrary discount is a good offer.

Their entire range is constantly on offer: https://prismplus.com.au/collections/monitors

Probably agree with you with that.
The OLED model are new launches which didn't see them until recently on the Australian site.

Pretty rad price for 49inch oled, even better if you had some 10% off amazon gc too.

Oh, and it doesn't have a VGA port 😄

  • 1800R is not even in the ballpark of being enough for 49", imo.

  • Should I be worried that brightness is 250cd/m

That's likely a measurement for 100% white, so you can take it as a limit for SDR brightness, which you'd probably dialling down to half that or less. In theory it could be pushed much harder, but the longevity of the panel would suffer enormously.

For HDR it will have 2% white peaks of about 1000 nits.

  • Their launch price was the same with $60 discount code. Had pre ordered in September, but cancelled after looking at the reviews. I agree with @Hybroid
