More than 4x the dimming zones, better built in audio, higher brightness levels.
Processor is seemingly the same between them. This is based on research I did when comparing the 75" models.
755 has Mini-LED for higher peak brightness and many more dimming zones.
Differences can be seen when tested with high contrast HDR content.
I am undecided whether for general viewing of content they look substantially different.

Is this not a good deal once you apply the 10% cashback from CR? Works out to $2,605.5 +$59 for delivery =$2,664.5. That's a pretty good deal right???
Not a bad deal. i would wait to try and get it under $2500. I am super happy paying $2360 (still waiting for delivery).
I was thinking of buying it right now using the 10% CR as it expires tonight. And if the price does drop further, I can always return this unopened, and get the refund (excluding the delivery fee) and then buy again if the price drop is significant.

Calling it now, due to popularity we won't see a cheaper price than $2605 until a newer model comes out. Then it will be impossible to find stock of the 855 and the 865 will be more expensive again. This happened with all the entry OLEDs from Samsung and LG too.
I think it will go sub 2500 again but yeah stock levels are problematic

Was expecting $2300 at least as the last deal was around that price range. Not an attractive deal for Black friday deal though.
Does anyone use this TV with a fetch box? Looking at getting a new TV for my parents and want to make sure there are no issues with the remote operating both the TV and the fetch box as my parents. They currently have a Sony Bravia XR65X90K and remote operates both so they don't want to go back to using two remotes

I was hoping to use the mount below even though it is described as only supporting up to 80". As far as weight goes it's within spec so I'm not sure how much it actually matters.
