For those not willing to wait, Amazon has a few portable screens with same specs as this one, at a lower price in BF deals. Purchase with 10% off Amazon Gift Card deal and you can get either of these for under $100.

    • That's pretty good, thanks!

    • Which of these would be better for steamdeck external screen?

      • All being 1080p, 16:9 IPS panels, they really are likely to perform much the same for a Steam Deck. They are all only 300 nits' brightness (other than the Aldi which is unclear), so likely better for indoor use rather than outdoor. Out of these three, go the one you like the look or price of the most, as they should all perform pretty much the same for your tasks.

    • Could these be somehow rack mounted in a security / data cabinet for connecting to the HDMI port of a NVR?

    4 stereo speakers: 1W x 4, optimised with Dolby® Atmos®

Thinking of replacing my surround sound system with this as it would be much more compact than having all those bulky speakers everywhere, thoughts?

Why not buy two, then you could have a 7.1 system?

At 1W power, you'll need to hang these speakers around your neck to fully utilize that Dolby Atmos.

  • Lenovo tab any good? Looking to get a tab around $200, considering the refurb surface pro 7 on the other deal too

    • I feel like an alldocube or similar on Aliexpress with more RAM around the same price would be the better buy. The 4GB of RAM is why I'm holding off. Both my boys would love a new tablet but I feel like it would chug and not have a great lifespan with it that low.

Nothing special about this portable monitor. The price point is similar to those found on ebay with 2k screens.
Aldi is slowly becoming very standard with no real specials and no brand name products. Not saving anything.

  • how do you power the portable monitor? The Aldi one or the ones on Amazon.

Can I use this as a monitor for Raspberry pi?
