Do you love BBQ and BBQ Accessories?

Great addition for the brisket and ribs setup to make sure they're cooked to perfection; taste the meat, not the heat.

This is the cheapest wireless bbq thermometer which I've found (Especially the 4 pack). Also the cheapest price according to camelcamelcamel. It is SO much cheaper than Meater Thermometer - good to see some more competition and better prices!

I haven't used it myself but most of the reviews on Amazon look promising.

Also, if you're making a brisket for Christmas you might want to check out the 'no lost sleep' brisket technique by David Ong on YT - absolute gamechanger.

I bought the four probe. I will test accuracy with ThermoPro TP03 and TP18.

The single inkbird is on sale but I'm not a fan of thermometers outside meater or meatstick.

  • Pretty new to bbq ing , have a Weber family Q never used yet, are these or anything else someone would recommend for cooking with the lid down just worried about the signal getting through the lid if that doesn't sound so silly?!

    • Should be fine through the lid the other option is the ink bird with wired probes used them with out issue

      • Cheersmany thanks

    • Should be fine, i use mine in a Masterbuilt 560. The signal is fine through the smoker in the garden, into my kitchen

      • Cheers many thanks mate

        • Can also recommend it….have used it on a few smokes now with good results! I also find the dock/display really handy when cooking in the kitchen.

Arrived today, I've been testing the range and it's way better than I expected. I've got one probe in a Pit Boss Lexington and the other in a Weber kettle. The receiver got good signal while three or four metres inside the house (7 metres from probes) with both bbq lids closed. This gives me a lot more ability to make sure that the receiver has good wifi connection, although it appears to get a good connection wherever I put it.

Still have not tested while cooking yet though.

Downsides, only the black probe has ambient temperature, didn't realise that from the Amazon listing. A lid or cover for the housing would have been nice, but I feel that is nitpicking.

4 Prong version from ink bird eBay using code BF2422 brings it down to $165.

  • Update - I've got the 4 prong version.

I've had quite the opposite experience with OZB AI. I've been experiencing connection issues where probes 1/2 is being detected and 3/4 is not coming up at all despite all thermometers in the one smoker and the receiver right next to it. However, temps have been aligned with my other probes so no complaints there. I will be returning due to the lack of stable connectivity between the probes and receiver.
