  Interesting phone, seems like a bit of a gimmick with the e-paper but also quite a lot of phone for the money given the features that you just can't get these days.

        Is it actually an eink screen, I thought this initially but reading further looks like it is an LCD with Matt screen and software

          @beaker: Yes its an LCD with a matte anti-reflective coating. It doesn't work well with a screen protector.

  Just a reminder that TCL have awful update support. Don't expect even a single android version update, just a year or two of security updates and then you're on your own. Can't unlock bootloader either
