  • Not a big fan of these as they usually use cheap metals in the shafts. If you want to break in without being noticed - then they're a little hard, if not - it's the same as a cheap lock.

    • Any recommendations?

If you want to break in without being noticed - then they're a little hard, if not - it's the same as a cheap lock.

House locks will not prevent a break-in. If anyone truly wanted to break into your house, they would just kick in a window.

Security devices are basically a deterrent against opportunistic crime (e.g. criminal walking past and just randomly checking if houses have been left unlocked), or just some basic protection against very low-skilled attacks where they'll just think it's not worth their time and move onto the next target.

  • Try " P15DIY" for additional $15 discount (not sure if it's targeted)

      Nonethless, thanks.

  • I am tossing if I should add smart lock to the security screen door or the actual door. Logically I am thinking updating my old screen door to Crimsafe and then adding one to it. Thoughts?

    • I was thinking the same but I'm guessing locks have a minimum door thickness requirement so most likely it'll be suited to your door rather than a security door

      • Yeah think that might be something to consider. Also thinking if I need the keys for one of the doors, then whats the point…….

  • Not much review on this model, anyone know if their smart locks are good?
