Not sure how long the coupon will last like the Momentum 4's earlier but the extra $30 to knock them down to $140 seems like a great deal. Especially at about half the ATL for Momentum 4's which they are the lite version of.

This isn't the plus version so no carry case and no touch controls but instead this version comes with a bonus blue tooth adapter. No idea how good it is.

Personally my PXC 550-II which I've had for years have been playing up and I missed the ebay deal to replace them. So I've been waiting for a good Sennheiser deal and while the momentum 4 deal earlier was tempting I preferred this deal at half the price for some slight downgrades. Also sorry if I do anything wrong in posting this deal first time posting a deal. <3

  • This seems like an excellent deal for the price. As a recent Momentum 4 SE purchaser, I can vouch for the audio quality of them, but have not listened to the Accentum before.

One issue I have had with my Momentums is with the hands free mode when gaming, it's just a limitation of Bluetooth, but in certain games (Helldivers 2 in my case) the hands free mode makes the audio quality awful in-game because of a channel limitation of Bluetooth, so you get stuck with a kind of radio quality mono audio out, and the mic is on even if you have selected a different default recording device in Windows. My workaround has been to disable Sennheiser Momentum 4 Hands Free in device manager when I don't want that issue to happen while gaming. In case that helps anyone 😁

Great headphones other than this quirk, and it's not the fault of the headphones. Just how BT works.

Accentum would be good value, but a step down from Momentum 4.

      • Thank you for justifying my purchase 😁 I really do enjoy them. And they're so comfy too!

I've said this before and I will say it again, I feel like the new range of momentum is a downgrade in every aspect other than battery life, build quality and audio quality; while these are important features and upgrades, I cannot live with the rest of the downgrades compared to my V1 PXC-550. I recently replaced the battery in the PXC and I find that I'm using them more.

PXC is lighter, easier to wear, more comfortable. ACTUALLY turns off with a physical switch. I cannot understate how horrible the magnetic off mode is on Momentum 4, I hate hate hate it! It never works, I always miss calls as they to to the headphone when they shake in the bag.

Lastly, where are the goddamn buttons? I don't want to navigate a silly app or do taichi on a touch panel just so I can adjust noise cancelling level, this was a simple switch on PXC…

And while the original firmware on Momentum 4 was horrible and subsequently there was 2 firmware upgrades which were not too good either, but there was an update early this year which fixed most of the issues.

Sigh, it's so hard to find a good pair of headphones these days.

  • Would be a buy immediately for me if it had a 3.5 jack :(

  • wow cheap!

previously posted in the $200 range.

all plastic build though I think for base accentum.

    Cons;
    - ANC struggles to block out the low rumble of bus engines
    - Bulky and can fall off of your head while moving
bugger, thought these might be good for tractoring but no
    .

  • Would this be better than Anker Soundcore for $119?

  • Looks like the extra $30 is gone
