I love my flexvolt gear. Super grunty!

Can I stick this in the cooling intakes of my McLaren F1 car? Which I also own.

    • Don't lie. You stole it.

I got the lower powered version DCMBL562N-XE a few weeks ago as a redemption deal with a lawnmower. Even at 450CFM/200km/h it's ridiculously high powered compared to mains electric or petrol ones I've had in the past. My son opens that back door and blasts the whole patio clear whilst sitting on a chair. Not sure if I should admire his efficiency or tell him to get off his lazy arse.

This thing would probably blow the patio furniture away.

  • Damn, i just bought the gen 1 recently… and although its great to use and powerful, its actually a bit too loud and have to use earplugs.
The gen 2 is actually supposed to be a bit quieter at 98dba as opposed to the gen 1 which is 107dba.
Not sure if 9dba would make a world of difference though.

    • its a logarithmic scale so maybe but then again when its already so high it doesn't matter much

      • Ive used the ozito one which is 94dba and less power.. i didnt have to wear ear muffs.
Gen1 dewalt, i have to when running it on full blast.

This is actually false advertising (for the battery).

The battery rating should be 9Ah @ 18V OR 3Ah @ 54V, not 54V 9Ah. If that were the case or would be an almost $500 battery.

The battery capacity is 162 Wh. You won't get 9Ah when using it are 54V.

Don't worry OP (I know you're not), it's the store/DeWalt that have twisted this, not you.

  • Do you have this one @hotrod01?
I am keen to jump up from ozito 18v. Also tried their 36v but was very disappointed.

Noise is a bit of a concern but having 3(or 4) settings should compensate for that.

    • I've got the gen 1, DCMBA572N-XE 54V. It rips, very powerful. It has a pressure trigger so you can control the speed of air rushing out of it. It is very noisey and I do wear ear muffs when using it.
