    Meh.

    Agree, St Ali is meh

    • Which roaster would you recommend for Rocky grinder + Aeropress brew? With milk in the morning. Black in the afternoon. Thanks!

  • I have had better coffees sure but this one is definitely one of the better ones. And at this price locked in for at least 12 months it’s a no brainer.

Given the reputation that the owner has as a human being and the shonky business that they did during covid, this is a company that deserves to be steered well clear of. Just a google search away…

    (profanity) st Ali

Throw in a couple of RATs and maybe I’ll continue to boycott this business who thinks $6 for a standard latte using the beans they roast themselves is too cheap

    • Was just about to check out had $100+ order. Then saw he was calling for cafes to increase prices….

      Any other recommendations?
Normally buy campos or st ali

      • If price is most important, Coles Urban Coffee Culture Medium Roast at $13/kg is pretty decent (I rate it higher than Woolworths Espresso at $12/kg, much higher than Coles Simply at $12/kg and the UCC Dark Roast, also $13/kg)

If flavour is most important, I found Lime Blue and Jasper to have some pretty decent blends at varying price points - best purchased when on sale

And for a balance of price and flavour, Aldi Single Origin Colombian or Honduras are a pretty decent option (I think they’re about $19/kg now?)

Special mention to my friend at Whyld Coffee and Connections in Miami, Gold Coast - organic small batch roaster who makes a fantastic low acidity roast “Solstice” and sells goon bags of cold brew

  • Obviously under a rock, I thought St. Ali was good coffee? whats al lthe hate from, agree with above, google search didn't reveal anything

  • Dukes is better than this… sadly not too many sales… but if you get a chance…. you will enjoy it
