Hope everyone is enjoying the start of Autumn. Thoughts are with everyone up in QLD and northern NSW, fingers crossed everyone stays safe. Where possible, we'll try our best to get orders going to QLD dispatched first and upgraded to Express Post.
We're stoked to continue the natural Ethiopian fun. This time it's a filter roast of the Shantawene - only 18kg of this so it won't stick around for long. While for the espresso crew, they've brought back the El Oasis that I know many enjoyed last year. It's a classic washed Colombian, but it's still got a lovely balance between citrus acidity and stonefruit sweetness.
Increased coffee pricing is starting to trickle through from our suppliers. In this deal we're highlighting two blends from Code Black that are slated to go up mid-March. So this deal will be the last chance to purchase their coffees at these price points.
But as things change, some stay the same. We're always happy to announce that the ever reliable Brazil Mantiqueira from Pillar is back on deck this month. If this is your coffee - as I know it is for many - you know what to do!
Courier Update
We're happy to say that CouriersPlease has been performing well since bringing them back to the delivery mix. Almost all orders being delivered first time and very few being carded. Speed has also been good - often as fast as Express Post and never slower than Parcel Post. So we think they're reliable enough to keep around for Metro Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide. However, we've got no plans to expand our use of CP beyond these three cities.
