Moi.
Gave my arm/shoulder time to heal thanks to it's lightness and willingness to walk itself across the floor. Shoutout to @Jimothy from the last deal. Does a reasonably good job over built up dirt marks (on medium mode as high is not recommended for my flooring). I'm a little nervous still and only attempted it on high last time but did not leave it on a spot for long at all, a bit hard to control at that speed while making sure I'm not doing the same spot for too long. Leaves the floor a lot less damp compared to my Bissell Pet Symphony and is a lot lighter and easier to use.
Depending how dirty your floors are, I wouldn't recommend this as a spot cleaner, you'll have to do a whole room otherwise stopping mid-way, just like a mop, will leave an obvious grit-line (ontop of obviously one side will be spotless and other dirty). Sort of the reason why I want a Dyson G1 just because of how easy is to apparently wack out and just go over a section. I totally passed on the submarine model though, spent $15 more on the V15 absolute package.
P.S. I advise using thick-pile microfibre socks while using this to aid in the dry process.
Returned mine after the first use. Used for 30 minutes and it stopped spinning. I read in the manual that it might be overheating, so I left it off overnight to rest. Then never able to make it work anymore. It was good when it worked, but a tool that breaks after 30 min of use means it's poor quality to me.
Are you sure it broke?
Mine had an issue last time turning on. I never read the manual and AFAIK there's no like, ON switch. Just click to your mode, I think it flashes while warming up. Solid light when ready, but I have no idea how it starts to spins. I think the motion of snapping the head straight (from the standable/resting L shape) initiates the spin? Assuming snapping it back turns it off. I think I just pull the cord when I'm done.. 😅
Yeah, it was working fine before it turned itself off. And I could not make it work again despite following all the instructions in the manual like I did the first time.
@Banana3: Damn, that's unfortunate. Sorry to hear you had such a poor experience. I hope mine isn't cacking the sh*ts already. I'ma have to pull it out again this week and make sure mine isn't a dud aswell.
Yep. Happy 8/10. With 10 being a full end of lease clean by a professional.
Glides easily, steam is plentiful. Stands on its own. Spare pads on eBay. Water reservoir is enough for mid size apartment / small house. Quick to heat up.
Does this leave a thread of water behind? My wooden floors are completely sealed and wouldn't be able to manage being wet for ages. Thanks!
I use it on the highest setting, so the steam dries up within one minute. So no residual water of note. B
But I do believe that wooden floors are a bit risky with steam. I've got tiles, so no issue. But I'd be careful with wood.
Tineco St Pro was the other model I was looking at in this space. Those are better for wooden floors, no steam.

Cheers, updated
got anko steam mop for $49
doesn't rotate but it's more powerful at 1300 watts steam only vs this at 1130w steam and rotateThe rotating is the key for lifting the stains imo…
Also saves your arm/shoulder.
The spinning makes it GLIDE across the floor.
My floors pretty clean but would definitely consider this if I didn't just buy the anko
I have one of these, goes good.
Damn you. I just paid more on Amazon. But its really good. The rotating means with stubborn stains you don't keep going over you just move slowly (or stop) and the mop does the work. So probably especially good for people with less strength or stamina
Was able to use this with a shoulder tear. It's healed up pretty well too thanks to the ease of use with this (compared to my Bissell Pet Symphony). It wants to keep cleaning itself by how easily it walks across the surface..
I bought it the last time… it is awesome and so much easier than normal steam mops. Those mop attachments are so easy to take off and put on as well.
Does anyone know if the rotating pad are better than the spinning cylinder mops for scrubbing textured floors?
Question: Does the cord not come in the way while mopping?
it has not been a problem for me, i wish it was slightly longer but the supplied length is actually reasonable.
@sauce2k commented last deal 'Price seems good but I’ve gone deep looked at a lot of reviews saying this will take the shine out of your floors.'
Can anyone back this up or dispute ?
Is it OK to add chemicals? Like a tiny bit of bleech?
I hvae tiled floors and I'm not sure if this can get rid of the usual old grime (bleech does with ease).we sometimes add a tiny bit of eco cleaner
What do you mean by eco cleaner? Can you please link the one that you get?
I’ll ask the misso
Not sure what she put in, prob some kind of essentially oil thing. Or eco friendly floor cleaner.
@Jimothy Wongingtons: Thanks.
Do you use distilled water with this or just regular tap?
I have a water filter that filters tap water, so I just use that. Try not to use regular tap water with appliances like these I reckon. Doesn’t look easily cleanable internally.
@Jimothy Wongingtons: Thanks. That reminds me. I need to order a new inline filter…
I spray a bit on the floor and go over it.
Bleach?
Just regular floor cleaner
Are you sure you want to have water with bleach vapour in the air and potentially breathing some of it ? The main point of steam is to not use chemicals.
Thanks. I didn't realise that it can be so dangerous.
Can be had for $164 @davidjones if you have commbank yello and they have seen fit to bestow upon you the $15 off for $100 spend.
Thanks. Got this one.
Vacuum mop might be better if messy kids?
Been waiting for this, thanks!
How does this compare to the tineco
Has anyone had experience using this on uneven/highly textured slate floors? Lots of these type of products seem to work well on completely flat floors, but aren't recommended for slate because of how uneven it is.
Prob wouldn’t work… the two pads though kind of has give to it, won’t deform to get in between the cracks I’d say
Isn't Tineco corded steam cleaner much better than this one
Sale at good guys says runs for couple of weeks, so hoping for an increased good guys cashback promo for black friday week/end
Does this work well on a tiled outdoor balcony? Or the mop pads will get super dirty.
