Postpaid services generally all have a credit check - to Telstra you're still paying $59/mth in perpetuity, it's just this one isn't contracted.

No idea, I've never signed up a phone with my ABN. If they do a credit check on that I might be in trouble, my "company" makes about $200 a year lol.

Mate of mine just did this and excitedly called me to confirm — 3 gift cards for 3 new connections (no need to port)
Apparently store (JB doncaster) staff told them that early termination wouldn't affect the gift card.
Can this be done online? If so, what’s the contact no?

Got 3 under 1 ABN and $750 JB GC. JB gift cards never expire. Can cancel anytime via online or going to JB. No need to return gift cards.

I guess you could cancel by calling up or via the 24hr app. But what would be the benefit? Do they prorata a monthly refund? Wouldnt it be best to cancel on the last day 28 days to avoid any possible early termination fee?

Thanks mate just took myself and the missus to our closest JB Hi-Fi and got 6 x $250 = $1500 in gift cards for 6 x $59 = $354.

Can confirm i got 3 × $250 gc and rep said theres no early termination fee. Wife abn expired so she did all the paper work and she signed dated it today but has to return tomorrow after she speaks to ato to reactivate abn and to pay for sims and collect gift cards. Would a chat via the personal 24 7
chat app be able to give a monthly 10 or $20 credit to combine services deals since i have a montly land line? Is this a 28 or 30 day plan and does the cycle start from today so thus we need to cancel on 14th or 16th dec?
Yes we had a big group of asians ahead of us lucky staff multi tasked and got us over the line by closing time at 4pm

@snirodha: In my Manage your plan section on the JB Hi-FI mobile APP I'm not seeing any cancel option.
@Tight-AS5: didn't find any option from online login too. may have to call & it seems number terminated immediately after cancel.
I set note to cancel before end of month to use up 60GB data per number.
@test8888: I canceled through the app via the chat. It was all confirmed from the guy on the other end as I got 300emails about the order to cancel form him (I've had 3 plans). Go to - "Get help" menu and tap on the speech bubble icon next to "contact us"
- I was not going to get a refund of the $177.00 I paid for ($59.00 x 3)
- $0 Voucher Repayment Fee
- There was no mention of the GC so I am guessing they're still active
What proof do they need of ABN ownership for these deals?
I showed the JB HIFI staff a letter from ABR, with my name and the ABN on the same page. Seems like they are flexible as long as you can show some sort of statement to show your name and the ABN are "related".
Deal is ended confirmed in store . Staff confirmed it might come back with different offer. Hopefully it comes back again with the GC.🤞

has anyone wanting to keep their numbers have you tried transferred the numbers to Telstra business prepaid? do they supply a free sim in telstra store to do this or you still need to buy a $2 pack?
