Bosch Series 6 Dishwasher (SMS6HCI02A) $1299 + Bonus $129.90 Harvey Norman Gift Card + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ Harvey Norman

80

Decent price for a Bosch Series 6 Dishwasher (this is the newest model - not to be confused with SMS6HAI02A or any other varient). These generally retail for $1350+, but when combined with the bonus gift card, it is quite good value.

  • Note that the gift card has a 1 month expiry

  • Billy Guyatts $1231 delivered + free delivery:

Also 2% cashback through Topcashback https://www.billyguyatts.com.au/bosch-series-6-freestanding-…

Possibly another option if don't want to faff with the 1 month giftcard/prioritise delivery/hate Gerry

Alternatively TGG may be able to beat/match

    • Good find. Been looking every day for a few months through multiple stores, and never seen this store come up. If you're planning on buying anything from HN though for Christmas, this might be considered a better deal

Got it recently from TGG $1255 with $40 gift card and $150 cashback, as this is normal retail price i'd expect a better deal / cashback by black friday.

    Decent machine so far,
The app you can set it to come on in the middle of the day for off peak power/ solar.
I did like that they give you a cutlery basket + tray so you can pick whichever type you like more.

    • Almost sounds too good to be true, I wish you posted this deal

    • Was tempted by the 15% shopback deal recently, but I've never had a GoodGuys purchase track in shopback.

  • Anyone have recommendations on those half sized draw style dishwashers?

    • My recomendation is don't waste your time, used one of the $2000 Fisher & Paykel draw ones in a previous rental and it was rubbish, hardly cleaned anything.

    • Hmm. Just saw Kegsta’s response, our experience was the opposite. Moving into our new house a few years ago, they had a ten year old F&P dual drawer unit. Our old place had a Bosch series 6 and we initially didn’t like the dual drawer unit. But got used to it and my wife would load it to an inch of its life and it would clean well. As long as the filler plate was clean. After a couple of years The rubber seals around the filter plate turned into gloop and you can’t buy them new (could get second hand on eBay though) so we decided to replace the whole unit since it was 10 years old. Put in a new Bosch series 6, made in Germany, which has the cutlery draw at the top, and we often find the cutlery not cleaned because they get cleaned with the same sprayer that’s under the top drawer. If the top drawer is pretty full, the spray gets blocked. We find we can’t wash as much stuff in the Bosch compared to using both drawers off the F&P unit. But maybe the water and power usage is less with the Bosch? Not sure. Also looks like the new Bosch units are not as nice quality or design as the older units, despite both being made in Germany.

      • There's no sprayer at the top of the Series 6 for the cultery?

      • Thanks for that. Going to be doing a kitchen reno soon and just seeing if its worth getting one at all. Might leave a spot in the kitchen where I can just modify that one spot if I ever sell the place or rent it out where a dishwasher could be chucked in later on. I've never had one and there's only 2 of us in the house so its not a huge loss. Just factoring in purchase plus running costs to see if its worth it.

  • Does it pop open when finished? This feature is very handy to have dried dishes.

    • Unfortunatly not.

    • That's the series 8
