Note - the small plan doesn't appear to come with 5G.

    Well, Kogan? What say you?

      Waiting too haha

If I buy today, how long do I have to use it?
My current plan doesn’t expire until mid January.

    • Would like to know too

Just talked to their customer support

"Upon receiving the SIM card you have within 60 days to activate them"

      • +1

However the link to the small plan says - Activate by 31/03/25.

        • +1

Yea that's a bit Contradicting didn't notice this otherwise could have checked with the customer rep.

@ninohax: Probably a good idea to take a screenshot if you're buying that plan & want to activate after 60 days.

    The 425G plan was $199 recently: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/865919

I was hoping they'd do that price again during Black Friday sales.

  • Please… I'm trying to save money…

Become a monthly sim slut then. There's always specials which means the most you'll spend is $120 a year & get heaps more data.

      This one is a good start - Lebara 30-Days 70GB $10

        I'm on Lebara right now.
Been sim sluting for 4 months now.
Amaysim and Coles Mobile so far has been worst and Boost has been good.
Was one day Optus or Vodafone just wouldn't work because of an outage.

Any idea of Lebara supports Wifi Calling & SMS particularly when being overseas (ie. being able to make & receive Australian calls / SMS while connected to overseas SIM / local network data)? This is currently working well with Boost & Telstra and I managed to get it working on Coles Mobile years ago but heard that it is no longer available these days.

    • +1

No, TPG and Optus geo block Wifi Calling. You will only be able to receive SMS.

  • I hope some offer comes on Black Friday. My amaysim services are finishing in Dec. Would love to have another set of of $60 annual plans. I think, those deals have disappeared for while…what r the other competitive 365 days plans

  • I recently joined Lebara and are having problems.

My phone would lose connection to the tower for no reason or people get the message that “The caller that you are trying to call has incoming call restrictions. Please try again later”.

When I emailed Lebara, I got this message, "First off, we apologize for the delayed response and the inconvenience caused.

In regards to your enquiry we hate to inform you that there is maintenance and repairs in that suburb that you are currently in and also in the neighboring suburbs.

According to the coverage tracker, the maintenance and repairs will be completed on the 13th of December. ".

NOT GOOD ENOUGH LEBARA. This is my work phone and I'm losing business.

    • If it's your business phone then you should be looking at a business plan from one of the network operators, eg Telstra, where they have guarantees and fault-correction thresholds…. if you choose a cheapo prepaid for your business, that's on you.

  • I activated the sim today and I still can't make any calls. I tried to call from another phone, it said it is unavailable.
I'll not buy any Lebara sim card again.

  • how long do i have to wait to reconnect to Lebera as new costumer?
    I had a plan a year before.
    thank you

    • Not sure but if it was a year ago then I would assume you're fine.

  • Takes 2 weeks to Melbourne
