What is the normal warranty?
Also 12 months, but it's the manufacturer's warranty. In this case it's the seller offering you the warranty because it's a grey import and Sony won't cover it.

I had these and loved the sound quality, I just couldn't deal with how damn hot and uncomfortable they are and sold them. I wonder if I could deal with them if I replaced the pads or something because they sound fantastic.
That was my issue with them too. Hated that they touched my ears. Ended up returning them.
Exactly!! The pads were too thin, it was like having a vice clamp on my head. I was being squeezed from the sides. My ears got really warm too.

Main annoyance with this for regular use is that when you put it on, or if the bluetooth disconnects/connects from another device, it has a voice guide that is not possible to disable - you have to sit there for 5-10 seconds waiting for it to tell you that it's ready to use.
So, if you get a phone call or join a zoom call, and try to put on your headset to take the call, you end up missing the first 5-10 seconds of whatever the other person was saying.
Nice that it connects to 2 devices seamlessly (i don't believe the galaxy pods or airpods do)
