          4k isn't the main thing. All tv's are 4k even cheap ones. Oleds cost alot for a reason. Plenty of stuff on yt to see why they are the best.

                @bargainhunter9: looks like your dreaming is coming true very soon. I am currently having a LG 55 oled paid 2k during covid, was planing to get bigger oled either 75 or 85 inch. however for this price, 55 will do for now.

        • Yep, can click on order number that is in the confirmation email and it opens up the web browser to the 'my orders' page with my order for the tv details there.

      Surely you have an old working monitor somewhere? Else go find the nearest verge collection or facebook/gumtree.

      • I do have an old computer monitor. Will that suffice? Otherwise marketplace I guess.

        • If you have selected 43” or below, I guess so. It didn’t specify any requirements other than it has to be in working condition.

      I bought this tv from Samsung few months ago and similarly opted in for the $100 off via trade in offer. The TV was on back order for a while so I forgot about keeping my old one and chucked it out. On the day of delivery, they took the TV back because I didn't have a TV to "trade" in. I had to then reorganise delivery and actually hand in a TV before they delivered it.

        Kept it and delivered new one no problem

      Yep mine is now "Awaiting Dispatch" and i ordered the 3rd time it came back in stock as checking out failed the first 2 times

    my order disappeared and never came back…. still got charged tho. When I put in my order id it says invalid order number

    • Mine was the same. You need to check the order status in the Samsung website not the Samsung Shop.

      • can u share link to the samsung website? When I search track samsung order on google it just takes me to the shop.

          Try accessing through there. Go to orders and see if it eventually shows up.

          • @Duece1995: I ordered though a guest account but made a proper one afterwards. Would that order be transferred to the proper account? Maybe that's why its not showing up. That said I haven't received a confirmation email from the guest account either.

    got my order confirmation email after ordering the second time it came back from OOS. Still, won't get ahead of myself till i actually get a dispatch notice. until then, they can still cancel at any time

      Doesn't have to have a stand. I traded in an old tele without one couple of months ago.

  • Took a few hours but my order has gone from order received to order accepted.
    All seems to good to be true but one would think they would just leave these pending in order received if they intended on cancelling

    • Takes time to process 4 millions orders and longer it’s pending the longer they can take to issue refunds

      • Reading through the thread it seems like typical Samsung, some people had their orders cancelled early on and then now people that ordered after are at dispatch awaiting. Still leaning on the side of every order getting cancelled once a higher up gets into work on Monday

        • Monday will be the moment of truth. Either people start reporting shipping info, or cancellation email hits everyone's mailbox.

    Just received a confirmation email, took a an hour but it went through. It was definitely a pricing error, if I use the code now it applies the discount on the RRP not the discounted price lol.

    Samsung Shop stock is hit and miss, just because you have an order doesn't mean they have stock allocated. Wouldn't be surprised if all these orders just stay open for a while

      agree. doubt they have that much stock available. i reckon at 2k+ orders easy. and this for a older model. and we know how notoriously bad samsung's store is

      Samsung has these kind of "errors" all the time. I bought a 65' S95B similar time last year for around $1500 on the EDU store, so just keep an eye out

      • isn't that going for 2k atm? Surely the $1500 is the appropriate discount and not a pricing error? Not to be rude, just curious haha

        • haven't checked current prices but it makes sense its a 2 year old panel now, but around May last year Costco had some for around $2400 so it was a pretty hefty discount, especially considering QD-OLED was pretty new and anything similar offered by Sony or LG was 2-3X more expensive

      • Did they end up honouring that price (I mean did you actually receive it)? I guess they realise the word of mouth marketing is super valuable
