      It's a standard website feature, can be turned on or off. Why would a store owner sitting at his desk at 7pm on a Thursday night packing orders for Ozbargainers turn this "off" if the other toggle switch option is "on" ?

      Seriously though the tips Ozbargainers provide actually offset the unavoidable buyer fraud associated with running the site - so be thankful to those kind Ozbargainers kicking a few cents in who actually keep prices lower for others. I mean a 1% tip on your order is 4c, most likely wont effect your lifestyle, but 200x Orders giving a 1% tip cover off on the 0.5% of people who (repeatedly) scam me.

        I would rather it was just baked into the price meaning +4c rather than being asked at the end.

            @jason101: Really shows the mindset around here at times, I make a serious point that I have noted the feedback (ie dont want to turn people off buying so may remove this at checkout) and people start negging that? Are folks around here really THAT miserable?

        Tipping is an insidious concept that has become pseudo-mandatory and just completely ridiculous in the US.
        We definitely don't need it in Aus.

        I point blank refuse to tip for anything, as good service should be normal if you want repeat customers and also a condition of employment.

        No problem with rounding up the price if you need to offset scammers.
