        • All worked as advertised for me too - invoice says $399 with $160 discount, final charge $239.
Perfect timing - I signed up just over a year ago on a similar deal and let it lapse hoping there'd be a discount around the corner.

          • @LemonParty: Glad you guys got it. What a cluster of an organisation they are, spoke to them this morning and have just gotten it cancelled and refunded as they couldn't do anything else.

  • Is this membership useful for hotels in Europe?

    • -1

Kind of, you still get the 10% discount off the public rate but that's about it.

      • +1

You don't get additional discounts in Europe over a normal, free to sign up ALL member. Accorplus is strictly an Asia Pacific program.

        • Is there a similar program targeted at European hotel?

          • +1

@ripp3r: Not really. The ALL Plus Ibis and ALL Plus Voyageur memberships do offer extra discounts and give some status nights, but it doesn't come with free StayPlus nights, or dining discounts.

  • I just renewed my Malaysian Explorer plus membership (2 free nights) for 1,190 MYR. Just over $400

    Strangely enough, no VPN needed

    • You use Aussie credit card?

      • Yes. Latitude mastercard

  • which one has the 2 free nights?

    • +2

I don't think you can get it on the Australian site. I signed up on the Malaysian site last year using tunnelbear VPN.

2 free nights at the fairmont singapore. Usually over $450 per night

      • excellent. thank you for that. i will go that route also. i will probably use it at the sofitel in sydney when i visit.

        • It looks like it now costs 1,699 MYR for new members. 1,190 was just my renewal price.

Probably still worth it for just under $600 but not as compelling as last year's deal

          • @mongos: whoa. still not a bad deal if you are getting something at least $300 per night.

just looked at sofitel prices, its over $800 a night. so you already make your money back with a 1 night stay.

yea, i think i'll still get it.

            • @Hugh G Rection: When are you planning on going? I'll check the dates for you. Otherwise you need to sign up first before you can check availability. Feel free to pm.

Also, you can now only use one night per stay. But pretty sure you can book two separate nights and then just get the hotel to link them up, so you don't need to change room

              • @mongos: Hi mongos, would you be able to check availability for me at any of the Ayers Rock hotels for nov 29 and nov 30? Many TIA

              • @mongos: @mongos would you be able to check for Swissotel and Fairmont with harbour views in singapore, for 15/2/25 to 20/2/25 for 2A/1C? That would be much appreciated. I spent too long dithering between which of these to book, and went to book and the prices went up $400 to $600 across the board!

                • @astigmatised: Swissotel has a free night on the 17th. $46 extra for marina bay view. Not available for any other dates though.

$1,981 for a 5 night stay in Marina Bay room.

Nothing for the Fairmont but it's pretty much the same hotel in terms of facilities.

                  • @mongos: Thank you so much! Is that including taxes? If so, worthwhile getting. I appreciate it!!

I bought this earlier in the year and can say that it has been worth it for us. Still haven't used the free night but did use the Suite-night upgrade which you get after hitting Platinum. Got a corner suite in Sofitel Abu Dhabi for an amazing price using that deal.

AccorPlus is actually very good value if you travel a lot. We get min 10% off any booking but the best deals are with Red Hot Rooms. We once got Sofitel in KL for $117 a night for 2 weeks. That also included free breakfast, lounge access and got an upgrade to a suite for the whole time as part of the Platinum benefit.

We also get 50% off dining (not drinks) and you don't have to stay at the hotel to get that.

There are other benefits like room upgrades, welcome gift, free breakfast in Asia/Pacific which are not part of AccorPlus but Platinum Elite. Buying this gives you 20 nights which helps you get Platinum quicker. We always get an upgrade and it's usually a substantial upgrade.

We also have Marriot Bonvoy Platinum and the benefits are no way near close to this.

i just got platinum, and super excited to use it at the lounges. i booked all 4 hotels for the holidays in sydney that have lounges, lol. 2 sofitels, swissotel, and pullman.

    • +1

Once getting into the Platinum perks its no way back LOL

Good thing about Accor plus is you dont actually need to achieve 60 status nights every calendar year
especially if the membership renewal date is near end of calendar year (eg. November or December)
You basically just need to do the 60 nights every other year

eg. I achieved 80 nights in 2023, and my membership renewal date is in 30 Nov
I dont need to reach 60 nights in 2024, and still having 11 months in 2025 to reach 60 nights in order to keep the status (40 nights after bonus status nights from accor plus)

  • How long does it take for the 20 nights to appear in the account after Silver status shows?

    • More than a day for me.

Something to watch out for. The standard ALL account lists number of nights needed to climb a level. I had 10 to go for Gold status, and understood that purchasing this offer would give me 20 nights. WRONG.

It moves you to a new scale of needing 30 nights to get to gold, and resets your counter. THEN it will deliver the 20 nights.

Adding annoyance, I only have 6 weeks before the next cut off so no chance that I will make it.

      • Yeah that's what I found confusing as I just looked at my status night. It seems Silver is consider 0 nights with Accor Plus and you work up from there.

  • Does Sofitel Melbourne show up on this

  • Can do Nz without VPN and save about $20. Accorplus.com/nz/friends

  • If I’m already gold Accor plus (via Amex plat) with 45/60 nights, does signing up for this automatically add another 20 status nights as per clause 2.7b in their t&cs? (To get to platinum)?

    https://accorcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/14110248/acc…

    • Would like to know this as well as some have claim the tally gets reset.

  • Genuine questions, I can easily find a stay for $239 almost anywhere, what else does this membership bring to table?

    • +4

What people use this card for has already been posted numerous times across this deal + the previous deal linked in the description.

If you can't even click on a link and read the benefits listed, this card isn't for you.

      • So people don't know value even if it slaps them in the face.

  • Accor Hotels are lovely hotels, but there is a major problem for a family of four. They make you pay for a second room as there is a max of 3 per room. This essentially doubles the price with a second room!

I plan to goto Japan with my family next year so I don’t see how this will save me money. Otherwise these are great looking hotels for max 3 people.

    • +1

Accor has its strengths. Affordable accommodation for mid to large families isn't one of them.

    • +1

Accor used to have a 50% discount for the 2nd room for families.
In the past in Tokyo, this was only available when I emailed the hotel
      and asked for it.
      (We are a family with 2 adults/4kids).

    • +1

Some hotels in Japan allow a family of 4, e.g., Mercure Haneda.

Some hotels have a max limit of 2 Adults and 1 Kid… which is annoying if you're an adult travelling with 2 Kids… They didn't complain when I booked it as 2 Adults and 1 Child :)

      • I have been looking at Mecure Haneda today but my kids are getting too big for sharing the bed (8yrs and 11yrs).
Looks like we are moving into booking 3 x rooms when travelling.

        • If you're not stuck with Accor, may I recommend things like Tokyu Stays etc which have much bigger family rooms. Holiday Inns in Japan also have large rooms and free breakfast/lunch for the kids. We stayed once in a Tobu Hotel in Asakusa that had 4 beds etc at very good rates if you book early enough. PM me if you want to know more.

    • Yeah just book it as max 3 people.

  • What re some restaurants worth to try in Sydney CBD with this card?

  • -1

Hey, if someone still has there free night available would you be able to check if there's any availability in Sydney 13/1-14/1 1 night two adults. Thank you!

  • Helpppp Please , I am now 21/30 towards gold,
but looks like I am not able to buy the Ibis card nor the voyageur card as I have signed up for the Accor Plus deal above.

Any other way to get the 9 status nights befor they expired on 31/12 as my next stay with them is going to be March 25?

    TIA…

  • can you sign up and use the beneifts the same day you sign up, ta

    • Yes, I just signed up and my free night appeared straight away

  • I joined on Sat afternoon yet the login page would fail to accept my information and complete my account creation, giving the error "We're sorry, there is a technical problem. Please try again later". Live Chat with support a few times since and just found out it's a widespread issue that is hoped to be fixed later today.

    Anyone else impacted by this?

  • Does anyone know how this compares in value to Accor Voyager memebership?
It seems it does not have the free night but has 20%-15% discount instead plus status nights.

  • So when buying this you automatically get Silver and is credited with 20 nights stay. So does that mean that you get a total of 30 nights stay bumping you upto Gold Status?

  • I'm 5 nights off Platinum with Accor Plus. If I don't achieve those by the end of 2024 will my tally reset back to 0 and therefore I will need to get 60 nights in 2025 to achieve Platinum?
