Battery Bracket for LiFePO4 280Ah, 304Ah & 314Ah Cells - $49 Shipped @ Muller Energy

We're a fairly niche company to start with at Muller Energy (specialising in high quality LiFePO4 batteries), but this might be our nichiest deal yet!

To answer questions about what it actually is: In order to build a 12V LiFePO4 battery, you need four individual battery cells. These cell holders make for a very neat and secure setup when building a battery. So it's a product targeted towards DIYers that have ~300Ah battery that they have built or that they want to build, making the process a bit simpler and the result a little nicer.

Hopefully this will clear up any confusion! 🙂

  • OP, is it all held together with (just) the white tape, and is that included if yes?

    • +1

That's glass reinforced tape and it's held together by that, as well as by small plastic pins on the brackets that interlock.
While we tend to use glass reinforced tape, you can use packaging straps or hose clamps (it's hard for find some that are long enough, but they do exist).

It doesn't come with the tape, but this can be found at your local hardware store.

  • Does your website have info on how to build your own house battery?
(can use and have a soldering iron & little spot welder and only need a small battery to basically run my lights, TV and oven at night. 6.6kw solar on the roof, and with gov't incentives, a battery still cost $8k+. Would consider harvesting old car battery 18650 cells)

We only have a video of me building a 12V battery, but nothing that's 48V.
I would also caution you against using 18650 due to their significantly higher risk profile (yes, I know 18650 is just a form factor, but they're almost NMC not LiFePO4).

We do sell 314Ah cells and if you wanted to build a 48V battery, you could use 16 of those. We could offer the cells and the BMS (battery management system) for around $3500, which would give you a high quality 17kWh battery.

  • hi, thanks alot for the response, i'd be interested in a mini version, maybe 4kWh or so, under $1k?
