    Should be Up to 50%

    • Thanks mate. Updated.

      • Best not to say "Up to" because when combined with no mention of any bargains the post might be removed.

That's the trick they always use. 2-3 non saleable things at 50% and rest at lower discount.

Some pretty good kids shoes at 50% .. i've found sketchers pretty hard waring

  • Looking at shoes for my kid, the description reads "Flexible traction outsole". Not very descriptive.

Anyone know if Skechers use rubber on the outsole of toddler shoes? I've found that some models from other brands just use foam, and they're not grippy enough (not to mention the durability concerns)

    • I've never had too may durability issues with toddler shoes - kids outgrow them so fast that the shoes can be handed down a few times. Even with school kids' shoes, our kids usually grow before the shoes break. The only exception to this are the velcro straps - those suck and I have found sketchers to be no better or no worse than other brands.

      • Interesting, we haven't had any issues with velcro straps yet, but maybe this changes with older kids. So far he's worn Bobux, New Balance and Asics

        • Yes, the velcro straps are an issue for post-toddler kids - they put more stress on the straps and the straps stop sticking after a while. Unlike shoelaces, the velcro straps are not easy to repair/replace so we just bear with it until the kid is old enough for shoelaces. I wish there was a better solution….

We tended to stick to Attipas (sometimes bought second-hand at almost new state) and Sketchers for toddlers.
