Cheapest price for this model so far, better deal as it include delivery. Costco Membership required. Also the 85" model is @ 1699.99 delivered if you have the space for it.

Make me really want to upgrade, but I think I will wait for c855
Do it!
Do it!
Now or Never!
No brainer at this price level Just upgrade it!
I am moving from console to PC. Feels no need for a bigger tv in hurry . Currently LG 55 in oled.
All these TCL deals and still no 855 :/
Anyone know if you can schedule delivery for like a month into the future?
Or is it only "ASAP"?
You can schedule delivery up to 5 weeks later with JB with their delivery link they send(unsure if other retailers do the same) but you can definitely just ring and ask. I was actually told you pretty much can wait until whenever unless the tv gets discontinued etc.
I purchased from JB around 2 weeks ago and im not scheduling delivery until the start of December roughly.
I did the same 2 weeks ago when JB, Good Guys & Harvey were all doing the TCL's for very good deals. I used a $100 GC and ended with a 75 C855 for $1875 and got another GC for $191. I'll be getting that TV delivered in about a weeks' time. But this is an excellent deal, though might be worth waiting for Black Friday deals. Keep in mind, there won't be too many of these TV's left, being last year's model.
No stock in WA
And if you can't get to costco, or the store is out of stock, just get JB in-store to price-match
Has anyone had any luck with this?
as someone who works for JB, ask politely and the salesperson will usually do it :)
Awesome! Thanks.
Waiting for a 98c855 For sub 4k hahaha maybe I'm dreaming
Thanks op, I'd more or less given up on getting the 75 inch c745, and was waiting on the c855 to come down in price. Pretty happy to get one.
What’s with all the TV deals every other weekend? Is it just because EOY is near?
Possibly a new trend is near? Like AR glasses or AI powered TVs, and stock needs to be cleared out.
Honestly though, how is TCL TV now? They used to be in the cheapest of the bunch kind. Are they any better these days?
I love my TCL. I find it much more user friendly than Hisense
How quick is the UI? We had TCL years ago and it was rubbish, the Hisense I have currently is great but slow to boot and can be laggy at times
It’s quick IMO. But my previous one was Hisense so I have only that to compare to
I had an issue with a Sony, Sony customer service was crap. I vowed to never buy Sony again after buying Sonys for life.
Bought the 65 c755 for my bedroom, is fine. Couldn't tell you the difference between it an the Sony except the remote is a but cheaper quality.
And this TV works, unlike the Sony.
I don’t have experience with the 7 series TCLs, but recommended the 8 series to a few friends who bought them, and just got my mum to get an 845. They are fantastic for the price. The Google TV OS is easy to use and snappy, the contrast is really good thanks to the local dimming, and HDR can go eye-searingly bright.
The only real problem I noticed on the 845 is video stutter in the built-in apps. I’m no expert but I think it has trouble matching certain frame rates.
I paid $3500 for my LG CX OLED a few years ago, and it’s better in every way besides brightness, but I would have trouble justifying the extra cost over an 8 series. I would say if you can afford an OLED then get one, but otherwise if you’re going LCD then there’s no good reason to pay more money for a model from Sony, Samsung etc, just get a TCL.
How does this compare to the C655?
I have had a 55 c815 and a 55c835. They have been awesome. C815 needed a reset as it slowed down a bit but was back to normal after refresh. A few niggles with the c835 when android upgraded like swaps to low power randomly and when I mute for extended periods and then try to unmute it doesn't respond. Might be a Sonos issue.
Again rarely happens and hard to reproduce .
I would recommend these highly. Wll be getting the 65c855 when price drops. Mini LED is awesome. I remember walking into JB and it was next too the Sony I was walking in to buy. The picture just stood out so much in comparison, well for me anyway.
Looking to upgrade to 75”.
I currently have a Hisense 65” Q8.
Does anyone know how the TLC compares to it?
In same situation.. but will wait for C755 to price drop further in Q1 2025 . Hisense Q8 with GC has been great so far only issue is the audio keeps getting disconnected with external soundbar and needs to restart everytime.
I have a JBL bar800 and it works perfectly
Currently have a 4 year old 75” Sony X9000H. Would it be a big jump from the Sony?
Still on the 2017 samsung 60 inch. Someone convince me to buy this lmaooo
What am i gonna do with my samsung?
How is the latency on this thing?
Says sold out
75" is sold out online, but still available instore. 85" still available online and instore
98"$?
Ozbargain bros, should I go for this or wait for the C855 in black friday for ~1.5-1.6x the price? Is the C855 worth the extra money?
Personally waiting for the C855 as I have a decent amount of light coming in to my living room so the higher peak brightness should help a lot for daytime viewing. Also happy to pay a bit more for Mini-LED and more local dimming zones etc.
But might not be worth the cost if you watch mainly at night and/or don't mind not having Mini-LED.
Thank you Skumzy, I'll hold for the C855 then. :) Hope a good deal coming by the end of the month. I watch mainly at night, but the C855 appears thinner :)
Fingers crossed! Based on last year's C845 sales there should be a deal in the next 1-2 weeks hopefully
Do they have the smaller sizes?
I’m interested in the 55” model myself.
