    Any reviews on this?

    • +5

Bought it last time it was on sale. Great set of clippers. Use it to shave my own head and trim beard.
Long battery life. Easy to use and clean. Broad clippers make cutting pretty easy and fast. Highly recommend

Only negative I can say, with the broad blades, I did nick my eyebrow once when I was trimming around my ear.

      • How loud is it?

Is it distractingly noisy or just ordinary?
Also, any good for quick close shave (Tidy up) on face?

        • +1

          Just the regular buzzing noise

        • I really like mine. Best I've had. For head and facial.

      • It does come with a smaller straight blade, but switching it out mid cut might be a hassle.

    • Got one, also had the previous model.
Works well without any guard, would recommend if you going for the #0 level

      • I'm still using the previous model…did you find it worth the upgrade? Or more of the same

        • pretty similar. Old one was getting a bit average in battery life.
new shape takes a bit to get use to holding, but apart from that, pretty much the same for my #0 usage

    • Got mine in the last sale. Very happy with it.

Only small downside is that it sprays the cut hair further than my last trimmer. Not sure why, but not a deal breaker by any means..

    • I have this model. It's fantastic, does what it says very well. I use it for my scalp. It's very liberating to do, much easier than the large models designed for somebody to do it for you.

    • I have one and its mostly good, although I planned to use it for body shaving and get way more cuts compared to other devices Ive used, basically must have the lowest guard on to get through it especially for more thin skin like thighs and upper arms

But other than that - has a lot of of accessories and powerful motor

I have the original model and after two or three years it still holds charge.

Use it once every two to four weeks with minor touch ups between and charge once a month or so.

Works great, paid for itself within three months and would buy again.

    • I have this and it's great. Works really well on my head, I'm really happy with the way I can trim or shave my head with it. Find it easy to actually fade my on hair and have received compliments on the effort.

Also great for Neck front and back. Highly recommend.

  • Any improved battery? I opened a brand new one of the old model and it still holds no charge

  • Yeah if you click the link there's 105 on Amazon. 4.5/5

  • I have the older more rounded one. Can't really recommend it. Not the strongest motor even on boost mode. Hurts like a bugger on beard not too bad on hair. This newer one might be better though.

I actually preferred the older model, I have the new one and recently got rid of the older one due to the battery no longer holding a charge. The older, curved model its perfect for head shaving, the newer model not quite as easy. But the newer model has a much stronger motor, and I imagine a better battery. So a bit of a trade off. I wish the new model had the same curved shape as the older, but either way at this price it is excellent, definitely worth a purchase.

    • This is what I wanted to see!

How do combs and cut size compare? I use the 2.5, 2, and 1.5mm combs on the older one. I love the older model and just want to make sure that the newer one is a decent match

    • The box shows a curved blade, so does this not come with one? I'm considering buying one, but agree that a straight blade would be a pain for heads.

      • Comes with a small straight precision blade attachment that it's referring to, fourth picture down on the previews.

        • Ok thanks. As long as the main blade is curved, it'll suit me. Thanks

Just remember to look after the lithium battery if you want maximum life out of these. I have the older model and still get pretty good runtime even after 7 years or so. Don't charge it after using it then store it with a full charge, and don't chuck it in the drawer with a flat battery either.

Don’t charge it before storing it and don’t not charge it before storing it. Got it.

  • I bought this at the previous sale, really good set of clippers, does a good job, ergonomic. I shave my own head with it and am very happy with the result.

An added benefit that I didn't expect, it comes with 2 chargers. A standard wall AC charger, and a USB charger.

USB charger is great for on the go or travel as don't need to worry about having another brick with you

    works great for my pubes

    I prefer the suck-cut

    • +1

Turn it off man, it's sucking my will to live!

  • There was someone in the previous deal that shared the non-white labeled version from taobao/aliexpress

    • +1

Yes, there are plenty of knock offs on ali. I always wondered how good they are.

  • I've had one of these for nearly 15 years. I've noticed the power is a bit less when it's not plugged in which is to be expected. A heap of different lengths to choose from. Waterproof so can use it in shower and clean easily. I still use it and now use it for my little kids.
Worthy of the $90 I spent a lifetime ago

Good set of clippers. I learnt how to cut my own hair with it. Wasn't a fantastic start… but hey, once you cut through a huge chunk of your hair, there's not much to do but to go for broke. Also helps that you have access to it and can retrim if need be - so you can even out weird spots over time.

Probably took me about… a month before I was cutting my hair in a way that made me happier than going to the barbers.

  • How is this compare to Philips HC5630/15 Cordless Washable Hair Clipper?

I have one of these. Can confirm it is very good. Doesn't stab you in the scalp like the old ones used to. Good price.

  • That’s so expensive. Just grab one of AliExpress and charge via usb so convenient

    • Which one?

  • A friend of mine bought some dog clippers for himself. He reckons they work great as a head shaver! Cheap too! :-)

      dog clippers for himself

      Sounds a little ruff.

Got mine today, pretty bloody good. Only thing I maybe don't like is that when shaving sideburns it gets awfully close to my eyebrows but I figure I'll just learn to hold it on an angle. Shaved about 10x quicker than my old shaver and felt much better.

    • Swap the head with the smaller precision one for your sideburn

  • Got mine today. I like it very much

    • Agree, quick delivery also best hair clippers I have tried. Much quicker and the outcome is great. Don't have to get the clippers went tho my head so many times! love it.

  • How is it for doing grade 2-3 im not a 0 man yet.
