Probably okay. Midea as a brand is way bigger than Robam or Fontile but those two are more specialized rangehood makers I guess as that's what they only do.
My relatives got one but I never ask about their experience with it.
I do like the idea of self-cleaning
I bought Fontile 60cm this year, pretty strong extraction, but expansive.
@paddywide Mind me ask how much you paid for yours? I just bought mine 2 weeks ago at Hurstville for $1100 + $400 (installation).

I got the MHAT90s. On highest speed, fire alarm never got trigerred again even if i cook steaks on cast iron. It's performance will also largely depends on your vents/tunnel. If vents is not stright out back or top, then you should consider schweigen.
More like $150 off seeing MHAT90S was $1099 and MHAA90BL was $1199 previously.
