That’s if you spend exactly $300, $600 or $1000. Otherwise, the discount becomes worse. I hate spend and save for that reason, especially for single, higher priced items. This luggage is good but overpriced and overhyped

  • How are there only three awful colour choices available for the Checked Plus Trunk? It's supposed to be a premium design but they never have any good colours available for it, not even for pre-order.

Also, what's with the 50/50 opening on that model? I don't understand why they decided to do 80/20 only on the regular size when it would be way more convenient on the larger size.

I was at their store in Brisbane earlier this week and boy the carry on luggages are heavy!

Yep. 3.4kg in a country that enforces max 7kg carry on, hard.

Their new Light ones are good on weight, but super flimsy and dont think they'll last long.

      • yeah the Light is actually the lightest i've seen for carry ons. it's polycarbonate but do you think it's bad quality?

        • Only had a limited play in store. Its definitely thinner. Much more flex. The Classic ones feel strong and hard wearing. The Light felt like it'd crack under pressure.

The carryon I'd imagine would be fine and IMO worth it over the CLassic as saves 1.6kg of weight. However the Check-in bags its only 1-1.2kg difference and I don't think that's worth it for how much thinner it feels?

Entirely an opinion. I'm in market. Had a Monos and Samsonite prior. Really want to like July as Aussie based, but struggling on picking due to colours, options and weight.

  • Anyone owned one of these for more than 12 months? Hows it holding up?
