$698 NP530U3C-A02 - Samsung Ultrabook Sale Is Back for One Last Round!

170

Today is Day Two of our Christmas Daily deals, we will be leaving each deal up as we add them until we run out of stock. So as of now we have the Samsung NP530U3C-A02 and the Kindle Fire. We will be adding another deal tomorrow so make sure to check back.

Last time we had the 5 series at these prices they went very quickly and we have had a ton of emails asking when they would come back, so this is probably your last chance to grab one before Christmas.

As always any issues let us know [email protected]

Update: We also dropped the price again on the 1TB HGST drive to $76, so threw that in as well!

    • Thanks added to the main post!

  • +1
    • Different model which is now completely sold out. This was the closest we could get to that price.

  • I need a HDD
1 TB HGST is tempting but 1TB portable for 76 or 2TB external for $89 Confused :S

    • One needs external power the other can be powered via USB. There is usually a bigger price difference, but if you need size over portability then the 2TB is the way to go.

      • I dont need a 2TB right now but in 1 or 2 years it might come handy
When does the deal ends Midnight AEST?

        • +5

Well, in 1-2 years you will be able to pickup another 1TB portable for $30 so if you think this will last you a year then I wouldn't worry about size.

        • Finally bought it, thanks for the advice :)

        • Good deal!

  • 12gb of ram for an ultrabook is pretty wicked. Battery life is always taken with a pinch of salt but great specs for the price.

Come on this is conservative! You should be happy they didn't put ~infinite*

*When stored at -273C (also please don't observe the machine as this could induce a quantum wave collapse which would significantly lower battery life.)

  • Wishlist:

    Nokia Lumia 820
    Wireless headphones under $100

  • Aww damn, I bought this yesterday at $798

    • Different model. We downgraded a few to 500GB drives you go the 128GB SSD version.

      • Ah I see now. Thanks.

        • No worries, I think yours shipped today btw.

      • +3

Not sure why this comment got negged really, people asked for a cheaper model and we took the time to make it as it was not available to buy…

  • maybe should be a bit more clear. its a drop down menu. it's from $698 which gives you 4gb ram 500gb hd. then $748 which gives u 12gb ram 500gb hd and so on and so forth.

    • Unfortunately that is our only option at the moment. We are working on an a la carte system, but it requires a fair amount of modification to the back end of the site…

      • +1

Can you update the title please, it's a bit of a misrep when you state $698 and read the specs as an SSD, but it isn't :(

        • Which spec are you reading? I can switch it around to read 500GB or 128GB SSD if that works better.

Fixed it, I think that reads better.

  • Just another one of those products I'd like to have, but won't get to have. Even at $798, 12GB RAM with a 128GB SSD…I like it.

  • Does your site ship to Asia?

    • Not currently, sorry.

  • I'm curious, will you be getting Samsung 830 SSD's back in stock, or will it only be 840's from here on out?

    • Really depends on pricing. We were going over SSD pricing today with a few suppliers and the 830's were not much cheaper.

      • That's a shame, was looking for one as a Christmas gift (admittedly, for myself), and they're disappearing from virtual shelves fast.

  • Hi rep, hope to get a Kindle paperwhite 3G, at reasonable price.

    • We won't have them before xmas unfortunately. Amazon has limits right now on the number of units being shipped, we expect that will be lifted in Jan and we can start bringing them in again.

  • Thanks for the deal. Will make a nice pressie for Mum! :)

  • Not sure if I have missed something on the specs but does this have HDMI out? Also will it be guaranteed delivery before Christmas because I'm flying out overseas on boxing day.

    • Yes it has HDMI out. And yes you will definitely have it this week or early next week at the latest.

  • Can anyone find any good reviews on this system?

  • Are you guys going to have any deals on modems or modem routers?

  • Thanks, bought the 12GB RAM, 128GB SSD model yesterday. Just came back to + it. Can't wait :)

    • Oh wow that was quick. Shipped via TNT this morning. Hopefully it arrives by tomorrow :)

    • Came today around 1pm. Very happy.

      Comes with a Samsung 830 Series 128GB SSD (mz7pc128hafu).

Unfortunately most of that is formatted with recovery and hibernate partitions (giving 86GB for the root drive which is taken up with about 15% Samsung crap). I shall get rid of the recovery partition ASAP.

    • Removing Recovery Area

If the Recovery Area is deleted to install a 2nd operating system or for extra data storage, Recovery Solution will not operate and your system cannot be recovered to factory state or to a previously saved state. If no DVD backup exists, please take caution as Recovery Media needs to be repurchased, if needed in the future.

Copy the SamsungRecoverySolution-Uninstall.exe file from C:\Program Files (x86)\Samsung\Samsung Recovery Solution 5 to the desktop

Execute SamsungRecoverySolution-Uninstall.exe to uninstall Samsung Recovery Solution and remove the Recovery Area.

You can always recover the recovery area from DVD if you need to.
