I picked one up from the Fountain Gate store for $5 yesterday (3/11/2024) (they had about 5 left there at the time). They're usually around $40-50 from memory. Quality is fine, definitely worth it for $5.

wow thats such a good application for it
I actually bought one of these a couple of weeks ago for that exact reason
Sadly my Pi 2 has seen better days, so it struggles
There are actually Target stores left? Who knew. All the ones near us turned into Kmart.
Plenty in Brisbane still, they just stock some of the same stuff now.
None left in Victoria
Damn, would have bought shitloads (for rpi/printer shennigans).
If you're in Sydney, the closest store that has available stock is Narellan.
If you're in Brisbane, the closest store that has available stock is Chermside.
If you're in Gold Coast, the closest store that has available stock is Tweed Heads.
If you're in Sunshine Coast, the closest store that has available stock is Maroochydore.Ordered for click and collect. Chermside in Brisbane.
retro 90's camera
Which models had 2K 30FPS in the 90s?
not those stats, lol.
im talking about webcams.
all my iMacs and MacBooks have built in cameras already, no need for this anymore.Ha, iMacs and MacBooks? "What's a computer?"
Yep thanks OP … that will save a few arguments when my wife and I both WFH.
Didn’t realise that with OnePass if you didn’t pick up a C&C only product they will deliver for free after a set window … now I know!
I don't believe that's true…
"We will hold your Click & Collect orders for 19 Calendar days once you receive your “Ready for Collection” notification. If your order is not collected within 19 calendar days, we will cancel the items and refund the order back to the payment method originally used."I was planning to collect anyhow so not testing it but I got a message asking me to confirm my Onepass address and that if I had not collected within 4 days it would be delivered free.
As I say, not testing it but that window came up so I have no reason to doubt it. Assumed it was an extra OnePass perk.
That’s amazing! Let’s hope it happens!
Could you elaborate on your experience of this? As it sounds like the policy is different
this has got BSOD written all over it.
Based on? It doesn’t requiring any driver installation so can’t see how it would cause a BSOD.
"Resolution: Interpolate 2K 2560 x 1440/30fps"
Not sure what the true resolution is, but I suspect it is really only 720p with poor optics on the front. If that is all you want, then $5 is fine, but I'm not sure that it would be a great camera for conferences.Couldn't find any stock in/near Brisbane. Been looking for a cheap webcam with ring light as I have a window behind me which throws out the lighting.
If anyone has other suggestions, I'd appreciate it :)
Aware it's very cheap, but for anyone who has one, how is the quality?
Looks like only Launceston TAS has it now.
Good (not great) quality. Bought one from Kmart bit over 3 months ago for $19 :-( For $5 it's a total bargain.
Ordered one to pick up from Launceston to pick up during the holiday next week…:)
I'm glad I picked up a couple of these a few weeks ago from my local store when they were going for clearance
It is a great camera for something like a 3d printer.
I just printed a mount that fits to my printer, as luckily it has a screw mount on the bottom for easy useWow. I wasn't expecting Logitech quality but this is a blurry mess. Woeful. My $50 creative Live! Cam is miles better. Not sure if I am missing something or it is broken.
Autofocus just appears broken.
Ty, good pi cam for octoprint
