Existing AliExpress users can get it for US$13.97 (~A$21.37) delivered in colour Black.

Really good value on this 61 key mechanical keyboard which features hot-swappable red linear switches, customisable colour backlighting, function keys and USB-C connectivity.

If you're like me and enjoy making custom keyboards then this is a good base, as you can easily swap out the switches for something better and replace the keycaps.

  • Link doesnt work

Turn off your VPN. AliExpress shows different sites/products depending on the region and if it's not Australia this won't work.

  • How does this compare to the Logitech POP that was on sale a few days ago?

    • +1

Logitech Pop is wireless and obviously from a big brand, but lacks the hot swappable switches.

  • so what do people use this for

    • +17

In my drunken state I've used one as a cricket bat before. I wasn't trying to hit a ball though.

      Otherwise typing works.

  • Interested but I wonder how the build quality is and if there is a thock…. probably not the best

    • This video from the 5 minute mark has a typing test. I think it sounds nice.

      • Impressive you made it through 5 minutes with that horrid AI voice.

        • +4

I didn't. I just skipped through until I found the typing.

  • Thanks got the black one for $12.04

  • sorry why do I want a hot swappable keyboard?

oh wait back in the '90s and IBM had their PS2 keyboards running warp OS 2 or windows NT 3.5 you couldn't Hot swap out the keyboard or it would just crash. is this for them?

    • +1

Hotswappable in terms mech keyboards refers to the hotswapping of the switch/es themselves. So you can customise the feel, sound, weight, etc. of your keyboard

  • Can't get the new user pricing.

  • Thanks OP..good find

  • Is there a 68-key version of this?

  • Thanks OP. Bought 2!

  • Be aware, from the pics looks like the hotswap sockets aren't "Kahilh style" but "Outemu style". This limits what switches you can put in as you can only use brands with "thin" metal legs.

  • OK for $11 but not $21. The usual price is $14 for this keyboard

    • That would be US$14 ex GST right? Because it's been floating around that mark for a while.
