I am been looking for this as you can save the docking station. Plenty of ports and daisy chain.
Not sure if we will be able to get it cheaper on Black Friday.

  • Auto KVM, integrated hub and PD charging are such great features

  • Why get this over the G3223Q? The only real advantage it has is a more ergonomic stand, but a vesa arm is better than any stand anyway.

    • Also has an IPS black panel with 2x the contrast

    • This is a work monitor…it has a USB hub at the back, a lot of port and daisy chain (can connect a second monitor).
G3223Q is a gaming one, with fewer ports and a higher refreshing rate.

    • +1

The main advantages are mostly USB-C related. If you have supported device, you get USB-C with KVM + hub (with LAN support and USB 3.2 gen 2 10Gbps) + power delivery to the device. There is daisy chain support via DisplayPort, but that's not useful for Macs.

For gaming though, G3223Q is a better choice. The HDR 600 is also better than HDR 400.

  • I have this and it's great - running dually with U2720Q
Having the power and joystick at the back takes time to get used to, but works well.

    • Any picture of your set up? How do you find working with 2x27? Isn`ta bit too big?

      • I'm about to setup 2 of these along with my P2723QE, once you go 4K you can't go back, it's not that much bigger than 24 tbh.

I won the p series a couple of years ago at a Dell funded Hyperkart event run by Ingram Micro and just got the 2 Us from Dicker with Dell credits (paid $58.15 for both delivered)

      • You get used to it very quickly. For my work, the real estate is so useful.

Only problem is that the screens my employer provides in the office look that much worse now. It’s not just the extra size, but text is just so much clearer to my eyes on these.

    • P series VS U Series.

  • Dell website has an "IPS" or "IPS Black" version. This OzBargain listing says "IPS Black," but the eBay listing is only "IPS," it seems. Still a good deal though :)

    • The "IPS" version on the Dell website is a different model (UP2720Q)
