Dont think. Just buy. Will not regret it

    • This.

    • Been thinking about buying for at least a year, should have just gotten it last year sub $500 and I would have been enjoying it for a whole year instead of thinking.

Nah I'm gonna keep thinking, maybe if I think a few more years I can get a 32" OLED at this price.

      • I bought 1 last year. Should've bought 2.

I purchased this monitor and it stopped working within 5 months. I initially believed it was a compatibility issue with my Mac, but further testing with Windows laptops and different cables confirmed the problem lies with the monitor itself. Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to pursue a replacement

I also had one out of two Dell G3223Ds (the 2K version of this display) die on me within 2 months of arrival. I managed to get it replaced with a brand-new unit as Dell support originally sent out a sh*tty refurb (as they like to do with warranty claims) that had horrible colour reproduction/accuracy that really stood out when it was side-by-side with the second brand-new display. It did take some back and forth and photographic/video evidence to prove to them that the refurb's colour accuracy was way off even at factory settings but if you argue enough Dell will cave to your demands in my experience.

Got it for $500 June last year. Great monitor for both gaming and productivity.

Been eyeing on this for awhile but since it’s a price drop rather than timed special, I’d wait for Black Friday in case it gets reduced further.

  • Thinking of replacing a 42" LG OLED with 2 of these (want to go back to a normal size montor).

Anyone rocking two of these? Are they too big?

    • What's your review of using a 42" OLED as a monitor?

      • Obviously quality is fantastic - but sitting approx 1m away it feels a little weird viewing content in the top and bottom corners - you almost have to move your head.

This and the fact it doesn't auto turn on/off without installing additional software on your PC is a little annoying. I occassionally get gltiches where the screen turns on for no reason during the night etc.

I have PowerToys installed so I have custom window positions set up, so I can snap them - but I prefer having actual monitors to snap to, and an ultra wide 16:9 view.

But everything else is amazing (colour, motion, contrast…)

    • Depends on how you prefer to set them up. I had two in horizontal side by side and thought it was too wide. Currently have the second monitor flipped vertical and prefer it that way, using fancy zones to snap windows to my preference.

I used to use a LG 48 as only monitor and prefer the two monitor setup for work and extra screen real estate.

      • 2 x 42 side by side, bloody hell haha

    • It depends. I have a big desk, 1.8m, so it doesn't feel too big. Also depends on use case. I work from home, often run 4 programs at same time. So visually I can see everything off 2 X 32".

Personally I prefer the large dual screen set up over single large monitor.

  • Great monitor. Returned the fancy pants ultrawide 34” Alienware monitor and got this instead. Very happy with it.

Grab it now, or wait until Black Friday?

  • 看什么呀快去买啊

  • Anyone using this with a Macbook Pro? Do you use a dock too? Not sure I can move off one USB-C cable for everything…

  • Have been using this on a MacBook Pro m1. Some days it randomly scales down from 144hz to 60hz. Usually no option to revert it, have resorted to many different software solutions nothing seems to work long term

    • Same setup here, but I've not had that problem. What dock/cable do you use?

      • Initially I was using dp to a docking station. That locked it to 120hz but had no inconsistencies at least. I read that usb-c to dp allows for the full 144hz so I ended up switching to this.
        I noticed 2 things:
        1) If I close the lid it goes to 60hz
        2) after updating to the latest os randomly waking up from sleep mode will lock it to 60hz

  • This is one of the best budget friendly decent 4K 144Hz gaming monitor, if your machine can run games at least on okay settings, buy it

  • I am using this now, its good, but wish it was curve.

  • I think it is too high-res for my work laptop - everything is so laggy. I use it to game on normally when not working, any fixes? aside for lowering the res?

    • Ask IT for better laptop, legit.

    • Make sure refresh rate is set to max otherwise will feel laggy at 4k

This one is very good, just buy, dont think.

  • Wouldn't mind getting one of these but I would hope that its not a no dead pixel lottery as it seems some have reported having them.

Also, some other buyer reporting that nVidia Gsync compatibility issues with theirs. Anybody know that its not a marketing ploy or is yours all good?

  • Does anyone know how or if it's supported to get 144 hz from macbook air m3?
