Monitor Pros: 120Hz, 32”, 4K, 99% sRGB, 95% DCI-P3, price
Monitor Cons: VA panel, not 240Hz lol, no USB-C option

For macOS users like me, I highly recommend BetterDisplay (US$15). Why? Due to Apple macOS Display Scaling DPI 4K Resolution Issue.

  • Does BetterDisplay fix the scaling issue or does it make it a bit better?

I was about to get the Asus PA27JCV 5K monitor but I really wanted 120Hz.

    • For me it fixed the scaling issue. I can change to (almost) any resolution and have High Resolution (HiDPI) at the same time!

      • What's the scaling issue?
I've been using a Dell 4K (U2720Q) since 2020 with various Macbooks, no issue at all.

      • What was wrong with it originally? Sorry I just haven't used 4K on Mac before…

  • +1

VA panel haters, where you at? Seems like a decent price for the specs on paper. But love my 32" Dell IPS that folks here rated highly.

Dell G3223Q looks like it's gone forever unfortunately. Discontinued.

    • I hate VA

    • +1

Most the hate is when its not specified in the title/description.

    • I have a 27" IPS and I hate it as I primarily game at night, and it's contrast sucks. Will be getting a VA panel next.

    • +2

I'm not sure what i hate more, the poor motion performance of an average VA or the fact that every IPS monitor I've seen has some form of backlight bleed.

      • Buy both and switch between them depends on your mood of the day lol

  • I wish this was the S2725QC but 32”…

The 27” one is IPS/4K/120hz with USB-C for $499, I’d just like a couple of extra inches 😎
