As someone looking to upgrade an old dual monitor mount (RGB and USB hub has died), what is the downside of a combined mount?

Running on a dual monitor arm side by side. Displayports for my PC and a USB C to HDMI splitter for my work laptop!

I've had two of these for a year+ now and just absolutely adore them.
