  • How does this deal compare to the tech fast 7800x3d 4080s deal?

    • +4

This deal may not be the cheapest, but we provide a much more robust selection of parts: an MSI mid-range B650 motherboard compared to a basic Gigabyte B650M, a 360mm cooler versus a 240mm cooler, and an 850W PSU instead of a 750W PSU. All components are primarily from reputable brands like MSI. Plus, MSI is offering AUD $335 in Steam credit as part of the deal.

      • +3

Putting the steam voucher in the title is probably worth doing as it helps with the value proposition

  • Why are there so many good deals for PC’s coming out now? I got the 7500f 4060 deal from EVA Tech only a few weeks ago, and I am already seeing deals that look very comparable, if not better

    • +4

Maybe they need to start clearing 40xx before Jan. And also don't want to miss holiday sale.

  • +3

3% for a card payment? Are you looking to get referred to the ACCC or something?

    • +2

just randomly scrolling through ozb and saw your comment, didnt realise there was a law about it. Glad to learn something new today

    • +1

Money they made from that covers shipping. So that $50 is extra profit

    • +1

We apologize for the high online card payment fee, we are looking for an online payment platform with lower fees.

There are no charges for customers who pay by bank deposit or in-store cash. In-store card payments also incur only a 0.9% surcharge.

      • +2

so is the online fee the same as your 'cost of acceptance'? aka the same amount you're charged (which I just learned off of the ACCC site haha)

  • Unknown 9 Awakening… are you associated with Sweet Baby Inc?

    • AMD is with them probably as they sponsor the free games, but they also give out the dark grimm Space Marine 2.

  • Why's it more expensive than the last time you posted it?

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/871824

The deal wasn't even meant to be expired but you ran out of 4080S and were meant to advise when you got more stock. I was waiting for the 4080S to come back in stock but wasn't expecting the price rise.

    • We also runs low on the mobo so we have to upgrade the default system a bit. You can choose B650M-A as mobo option and the price is $3109 for pick up after coupon.

      • +1

The other post didn't mention the surcharge for cc so not sure if it was the same but i hadn't factored that in before so i've gone with the Techfast deal instead now.
