Going by your questions, it's not a market you're aware of. That's absolutely fair enough, but if you're not aware of the market and are looking for cheaper alternatives, are you just going down the "ooh shiny!" route and looking at buying something you don't really need? I've been working on stopping myself going down that path. It's not easy.

If someone needed this to just say for example go to 20 metres would it carry an underwater cutting torch then allow me to navigate a labyrinth of underwater tunnels. Would it also have the strength to then tow a small nuclear device out of those tunnels to a waiting sea plane. Asking for a friend.

I'm actually intersted if anyone has real world experience with these. There have been cheaper underwater scooters on Ozbargain before and the consensus was they were a waste of time. If these really work well I might get one, only because it would be cool and the kids will love it.
Someone jump into an aquarium pool with one of these and let me know how you go.
