Yep 8gb ram, but prob still suffice as a cheap school laptop.

Don't normally see 14" convertibles at this price. Not in the market myself, thought someone might be able to benefit.

Jesus take the wheel if this is OLED.

Nup, updated title to show FHD IPS. But one can still dream

The peoduct designer of this must be shot by giving 8gb only soldered

      Bean counters more like.

    IPS 250 nits 45% NTSC :(

    • The display panel is always the weak point of cheaper laptops. Generally terrible brightness, terrible colour, terrible viewing angles, terrible response time. Don’t know about this specific display.

    Does it come with stylus?

43wh battery, 8gig ram, crappy screen … Definitely getting what you pay for here.

This is perfect for the School Kids nothing wrong with 8gb Ram

      • yeh i understand that's what its for, just pointing out this is probably the right price for this product, i guess to some it's a good bragain.

  • It seems like a good deal to me? I know there are compromises as stated above. But not really anything else better at this price point?

Probably not at this price, but 8GB is not a lot especially if you're going to be opening lots of tabs in your browser. But if it's for really simple things, then this should be fine. Good for an older parent, school kid, or uni student for taking notes.

      • Ok thanks :)

Is this refurbished or new? Ebay says new, however the price for refurbished on HP is slightly higher than this one. So, I'm a little confused.

fhd bit meh even for school

    • +1

FHD is fine on a 14" laptop at this price point for school lol, especially if you want the battery life to last the day.

  • Anything with a bit more grunt for a high school kid but still 2 in 1?

  • Perfect - got it for my son starting Middle school next year.
    Can't complain at $632.00, 2in1 with touchscreen.
Doesn't need it for gaming (the opposite actually) and 8gb will be more than fine for apps and webpages.
