Dual-Chamber 160L Compost Tumbler $67 Delivered @ VEVOR

200
VVMH5

Not as good as Bunnings 4 months ago, but best price I could find today. Others were:

$63 60L Viviendo @ Lasoo
$70 60L Viviendo @ Catch
$75 65L Groverdi @ Kogan
$76 160L @ Temu
$85 60L @ eBay
$96 160L @ eBay
$99 160L Saxon @ Bunnings

Better than this just with the Brisbane Council $100 rebate. But I'm not in Brisbane.

Have one of these and works well!
    Can vouch for the product

However, if you live in major cities, plenty of compost tumblers on FB marketplace going for free-$20. I got mine for $10

    • I did look before pulling the trigger; not much around the Sunshine Coast. And the ones listed were more expensive than new ones! ($80-100). Gardening stuff is like gold here. Dare you to find a working wheelbarrow for less than $40!

I'm actually surprised no one in Brisbane made it a business to cut through the rebate and sell discounted compost bins/tumblers to people in surrounding councils.

hey, have been looking at getting a composter thats of the ground like this one. Should this last a few years if not overfilled?

  • +5

I had the bunning version of this for literally years. The only thing that killed it was moving it to the garden and having the metal feet get completely eaten away. Decent for $70

Logan City Council in QLD also gives a $50 rebate for compost bins

Likewise. The metal feet rusted away and fell apart when I tried to move mine.

    • ah good call, so keep on concrete/pavers, not grass.

      • Or lather them with vaseline before 1st use?

Don’t forget the local council rebate scheme as well. For example Brisbane’s one is pretty generous atm compost rebate
Early this year I got abreville foodcycler for $179 fully refunded under the scheme. Is the product with it ahh maybe, probably better/cheaper to let nature do the job. Don’t ask me why they are now over 400 bucks that’s a rip.

    • Thank you! Bought a composter earlier this year and had no idea this existed. Easiest $100 I'll make.

I did mention it in the description, but it doesn't hurt to reiterate.

Don’t ask me why they are now over 400 bucks that’s a rip.

Precisely bc of the rebate. People's willingness to pay doesn't decrease bc of subsidy; rather vendors willingness to charge is boundless. So, as with all subsidy schemes, it's corporations who pocket it, and taxpayers who pay it. Consumers are just passive conduits.

      • So you reckon the council rebates are the singlar cause of Amazon bumping up this price?

When you sign up for a new account, you get an email with a $5 coupon, which is more than the $3.60 saved by using the 5DEAL code.

    • Orders Over AU $199.00

      • My bad, I missed that part, since the email didn't mention any minimum spend.

Honey coupon code (VVMH5) gets you $5 off

    • Works. Thanks. Updated.

  • I see $131 when I check the website?

  • +1

yep showing as $130.99 for me, missed the boat by the looks

    • Will just have to buy off Temu then!

  • Can still get same one at Bunnings for $99 then rebate for cash back if your in QLD.
