      It is good enough. Similar quality to a 2 year old iPhone camera. A 2 year old iPhone with 20% depleted battery health is still $1000 used on Gumtree / Facebook and this Motorola is brand new and less than half the price of a 2 year old used iPhone so it's excellent value.

        2year old iPhone will have another 4 years of OS upgrades. Motorola get 2 at most

          Only 4 years of support on the used iPhone? For the price of a base spec iPhone ($1400 iPhone 16 128GB), you can get Motorola to send you a brand new updated Motorola Edge 50 phone 3 times or every 3 years so 12 years of support. 3 x the years of support vs a 2 year old used iPhone with 4 more years of software support. Plus Apple won't send you a new iPhone every 3 years so it will be same beater phone getting older.

      got one from JB on thursday, they price matched amazon, loaded all the updates and no lag on mine compared to oppo x5.

    Is the camera okay on this one? Motorola make great performance-for-paypoint phones and i think have taken that mantle from Xiaomi as of a few years ago, but the one thing their phones are lacking with is camera. Cameras in Xiaomi are still way, way better than Motorolas in my experience.

    went to jb and they price matched, great phone, was released in may 2024 so quite a few patches for android 14 to download. No lag, camera seems great compared to my oppo x5, not sure how many years of updates but replacing the oppo as battery life seems to be getting shorter and no android 14. if the fusion gets updates for 3 years , seems i will get android 15 & 16 though how quick updates are released is also related to the SOC, and once they switch to new SOC updates for old SOC are only for customer loyalty and they don’t make phones with that SOC anymore or it’s now in bottom end cheap phones.

    What features do you REALLY-need on a mobile-phone…can they be done on a desktop ?

    Via extensive-use & lack-of-care, the 5000mAh battery will deteriorate & users likely to RE-place their phone (2yrs + ?d) as carrying a power-bank is IN-convenience. UNDER-focus on the limited RE-charge cycles of battery ?

    50% clearance-sales is normal-ish moving-forward with yearly-releases, patience.
