Reviews seem to suggest this is one of the best cleaning robovac/mop on the planet right now
Way more powerful suction than my Neato D10
I do wonder how effective non-square robovacs/mops are at cleaning along walls/corners

This or Roborock Qrevo Master Robotic?

    • Just saw Qrevo Curv & Edge are rated even better than the Master
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ONdJaggmD8

      • The Curv is rated more highly (as you would hope for a new flagship), but given it isn't out here yet and the Master is still going for $2500+ you could be waiting a while to get the Curv at a sensible price.

        • From a mopping perspective the Eufy S1 Pro looks the goods at these price points.

I have one and it's pretty great overall except one thing. The base station auto empty vacuum is not powerful enough. It often won't fully empty the robovac dust bin, which then clogs up. The weak suction means the base station bag also fills up right near where it attaches and then clogs up.

With a few workarounds it's tolerable but a major let down compared to how good the rest of the X40 is.

    I hear this sucks

    • I had a Dreame stick vacuum and it certainly sucked, but in quality and design. Picked up dust, yeah, but anything bigger than kitty litter and it clogged.

I’d never trust anything Dreame. Looks like they did the Oneplus thing and started with cheap products, then jacked prices to the same as to better quality competitors after they got foothold in the market.

  • Vacuum Wars independent website rates the Roborocks very highly. People can compare the Dreame vs Roborocks here:
    https://vacuumwars.com/best-vacuum-cleaners/robot-vacuums/

  • And another sorted by descending score. I went Dreame (TGG comm), only 2nd day in but suits my needs

Haven't had the experience of poor auto emptying yet tho so will be disappointed if that happens for me. I selected frequent emptying so hopefully needs less power to get the dust sucked to the base station each time.

    • I can confirm that setting auto empty to High frequency is filling up the bag with hair and dust and there is none left in the vac collection container

  • I just purched it one, it is good or bad lets see.

Has anyone try the TriCut Brush?

    • Yeh bought the Ultra Special Mega Bundle which had the tricut brush. Seems to be working a treat but is a little noisier than the rubber brush because it apparently lowers closer to the floor, doesn't bother me too much though. Also it only has bristles, that might not last long, thought it would have some rubber but I guess that would counter the blade effectiveness.
I think the rubber brush is not too bad in comparison because you just pop the nobs of the side and pull the hair off, it wasn't getting stuck/wound round the middle for me.
Good to buy the pack too as can wash out the filter and swap replacement in each day while it dries

  • This or the narwal freo Z?
