X40 Ultra combines cutting-edge robotic features for a simple cleaning routine. SideReach™ reaches
typically unreachable areas, MopExtend™ RoboSwing technology ensures thorough mopping, and an RGB
sensor smartly detects the level of dirt. The self-cleaning washboard and mop use 70°C hot water[1] to
reduce stains, while a leading 12,000Pa[2] suction picks up pet hair and dirt with fewer passes.

Far-Reaching Cleaning
The side brush can lift up to 10mm(0.39inch)[3], and extend to reach wall corners and curved furniture legs with fewer missed spots. Utilizing Dreame's MopExtend™ RoboSwing technology, X40 Ultra eliminates hidden debris under low-profile furniture with a 4cm[4] mop extension.

Autonomous Washing. Hands-Free Maintenance.
Relish the convenient self-maintenance of X40 Ultra. It auto-empties dirt for 75 days[5], dries mops with hot air, and refills water & solution. Plus, it cleans the mop and washboard with 70°C hot water to tackle stains and foul odors.

Smart Dirt Detection to Remove Tough Stains
With the latest upgraded OmniDirt™ detection[6] technology, X40 Ultra's intelligent RGB camera identifies tricky and sticky stains, scrubbing them off the floor precisely[7]. Its turbidity sensor measures water dirtiness, ensuring mop rewashing[8] for efficient stain removal and a refreshed home.

Advanced Sweeping of Dust, Hair, Debris
Enjoy powerful vacuuming on hard floors and carpets with X40 Ultra. Its removable mop protects low-to-high carpets from moisture. At the same time, the industry-leading 12,000Pa suction eliminates hair, dirt, and debris for a cleaner home. The anti-tangle TriCut brush[9] prevents tangles, saving time and effort.

Whats the reliability like of Dreame? i have read alot of horror storys online with people trying to claim warranty. This one still needs to be about 500 cheaper to consider.

IV tried the dreame l20 ultra twice, both times there were issues…. I'm not getting another dreame

      • good to know will wait for a roborock.

        • Xiaomi ???
be open minded - don't let the brand knock you.
from my research - they seem alright (better than Dreame)

pity I missed out on some of the deals back in DEC/JAN.

      • I had a L20 Ultra as well and it had trouble docking at the docking station straight out of the box, I returned it and got a refund.
I recently brought a x40 Ultra 2 weeks ago and have had no troubles with it so far.
Dreame needs to get their quality control sorted.
I have read plenty of horror stories as well.

I had issues with mine and I just went directly back to place I bought it from (The Good Guys) and they offered a replacement or refund.
Dreame was very slow to respond and claim they are Dreame experts but when I contacted them they knew nothing.

    • My z10 pro gets sometimes stuck when driving off the carpet.
It could not detect my convex bar chair legs and tries to use them as half pipes.
Software is unoptimised, after it depletes its battery, it will go to charge, charges for another 10-20% only to be able to work for 15 minutes and this cycle continues until it has finished the task, it might run out of battery on the way back, lose connection and make you look for it.
Constant loss of connection to wifi, would not start to clean if connection is lost
Customer service is a joke, they just say they cant replicate the fault, change the battery and send it back to you.

    • haven’t had any issues with mine, came from a Roomba that didn’t have a mop function.
I’ve read heaps of people having issues with Dreame and I think one user on here that had a x40. But so far it’s been perfect, from mapping to avoiding stuff on the floor

    • my sister has the Dreame L10+ (which retails for $1,399 VIA their store).
she said … vacuum side of things == 100% perfect … mopping side of things, was no good after 6 weeks (only about 10-25% effective - she often had to use damp sponge on kitchen floor afterwards).

After seeing her Dreame - in action - has started me looking at a robotic vacuum/mop cleaner for my house (hence found this thread).
      +++ bargains.

keep dreaming for a unforgettable customer service with DREAME

  • I have had a Dreame for 1.5yrs. First 6 months it was doing fine, last 12 months performance kept degrading until the auto empty feature gave in and I needed to manually clean up the dust bin manually. App was ok but slow to respond. I recently bought a Roborock Qrevo MaxV can say it is 10x better!
