True but mostly the same. It’s the same processor and that’s how people judge the longevity of the device
no most people dont give a shit about processing power
now seeing side by side, it more similar than different. Same CPU (2020) driving some higher spec hardware.
Laminated screen is the only major advantage of the air.

If you’re willing to spend a bit more for a better experience, the iPad Air may be better as it supports the Apple Pencil Pro and has a laminated, bigger display. This would be alright but has a bit worse screen (non-laminated) and uses a less advanced Apple Pencil. I think she’d still love it though. You can also go to the Apple Store and try them both out.

Good price when they came out. $500 for an lcd with the functionality of an iphone 5.. its getting a bit old. Like cmon man, wheres the oled etc.. you can buy a world class picture in 42 LG C4 for 1500..
I know, i know. We ended up getting the kids an ipad for for 900+.. the apple tax just feels a bit more right now.
