Cashback terms and exclusions

What will stop me from getting cashback

  • You must empty your TEMU cart prior to clicking/tapping from TopCashback.
  • Accepting a best price adjustment on TEMU after your order has tracked will affect your reported cashback, and in some cases will reduce it significantly. TopCashback has no control over this process.
  • Cashback for TEMU is eligible only on orders placed from within Australia, and delivered to Australia.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchase of gift cards and/or use of gift cards for payment.

What else is essential

  • TEMU sale amount and cashback may report a lower amount than expected due to international conversion rates, fees, taxes and other factors determined by TEMU. Please note TopCashback has no control over this process.
  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • Always return to TopCashback and click through via the pink cashback button to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.

Good to know

  • Ensure you disable plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole & VPNs prior to clicking/tapping from TopCashback as they will prevent your order from tracking.
  • If you cancel / return / exchange / modify your completed order, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.

  • Missing cashback claims must be lodged within 100 days of purchase.

      Agreed. A purchase on 11th June changed from "Pending" to "Confirmed" on 29th Sept. Don't know how much longer it will take to become "Payable".

          Mine became payable. The transaction was late May and I claimed it early October, it took over 3 months to confirm then a few weeks to become payable.

    Can't find any info regarding it being 40% even for existing customers. Do you have more info regarding that? Just a bit concerned before I order. Because usually Shopback and Cashrewards Temu promos only have that high cashback rate for new users.

      It's not split, usually it has 2 rates for new and existing.

      High rates for existing customers is rarer but it has happened many times before.

            @Hiphopopotamus: Yeah i'm 50/50 right now about it because Temu is obnoxious for shoving insane deals/promos (like 90% off in one item) in your face and i'm quite concerned if it will track as well if I use those

            @Hiphopopotamus: To reduce the risk of tracking problems, I only use a browser (especially Chrome mobile browser) and keep all tabs with Temu links that I want to buy. I don't put them in the cart. Login Paypal in the browser, then Topcashback website and open the Temu link in Topcashback website. Start adding them in the cart and pay with PayPal. The sooner you finish the transaction, the better for tracking success.

            I don't install Temu app. So, the browser won't open Temu app.

              @neoleo: I have a dedicated cashback browser as well. My success with Temu has been 50/50, compared to almost 100% for every other store (AliExpress has been a little wonky lately).

    Cashback didn’t appear for $40 dollar cash back on pet stock rewards (recent deal) despite the click tracking.

    Opened a dispute, first time with them… but, not a great sign that my first high value cashback was rejected hahah

    Ah yes, we'll play this game again since I have a lot of items to buy. The game is, that Temu never tracks, neither on here or Shopback and then you have to submit a missing cashback claim. While I can't prove it, I'm pretty sure this is done on purpose to only get those who notice and can be bothered to file a cashback to actually get it. Which is why it's often such a high percentage. Tried, different PCs, App, browser, no adblockers etc. Never tracks.

      Can confirm, I just checked and it says "You do not appear to have clicked through to any of our merchants yet.". FML.

      Maybe it has a short timeout? I took just over half an hour to browse and add all my items and checkout (there were a lot of little items), maybe that's too long and I need to just pre-open all the tabs and them add each one to cart right away.

    I find it more worthwhile to get the cashback deals direct from Temu if you don't mind getting Temu credit. You just have to log back in everyday for the next 7 days after your purchase to claim the credits so I do miss some of it when I forget. But once you claim the credit, you get it instantly. Last time, I got $45 credit back from a $71 purchase so that's 63% cashback and I did miss one of the days. Also don't have to muck around with multiple tabs. I just add things to my cart over time and check Temu every now and then until the offer comes up and then buy everything in my cart.

      aren’t the credits rubbish , like it says you have $500 of credit to use but you can never apply it , everything is over priced and then says it’s 80% off , feels like you are shopping in a casino

        I have never had issues using my credit. Obviously, the RRP is ridiculously inflated and to be completely ignored. Also, did not know they have capped it at $30 now. Must have been a very recent change.
