  • Picked this up Saturday Didn't post here - used 4100 of vouchers/gift cards so $310 for me! Much better value than Samsung!

Which vouchers did you use and how did you get them?

      • gift vouchers doing surveys

all these ssd deal, the temptation….

    • imo black friday sales should see similar or cheaper prices.

      • That is what I'm hoping for

  • Still waiting under 100$/1tb for a decent one.

    • +2

      Will you take 8tb though?

      • i am a bit late… but 8TB where and how much?

        • +3

          I havent started anything.
just brainstorming, I am researching what can I do to make 8TB work on black friday.

          • @Lexar ANZ Chris: I guess you might mean x2 4TB? The 8TB don't even exist on the Kingston webpage

            • @shanty: Lexar recently announced the 8tb variant of NM790. Similar/same performance as 4tb variant. Keen for the deal @Lexar ANZ Chris works out!
              In Chris we trust!

@Faulty: damn, didn't see these replies.

I have already finalized 4tb deals, so you will see the good old 4tb deals hopefully today or tomorrow.

But this time I have doubled the number of participating stores.

I will run a 8tb deal if I can, but note that it won't be the price of 2 x 4tb (at historical low).
I will only try to create a benchmark price in Australia for 8tb gen4. (and will be the lowest in the market)

                • @Lexar ANZ Chris: Keen to get one! Patiently waiting for a great 4TB deal :)

                • @Lexar ANZ Chris: Understandable! Thank you for your efforts in supporting the Ozb community. Keen on snapping up either 2 x 4TB's or a single 8TB.
Would 8Tb be closer to $100/TB mark? That would be super enticing imo, would (possibly) smash other competitors who are currently doing a minimum $131/TB. Cheers

@Faulty: This year getting to 100 is a bit tough but not impossible.
But losing that much on a 8tb, If I were to do it, probably will have to control the volume to limit within 100 units.
but 131 is standard price, I can do that easily.
I think getting towards 110-120 is more realistic deal at this time.
That said, If I can do 120 - 130 per tb, I probably more leanning towards doing 2tb gen 5 deals so everyone can justfiy getting a gen5 as boot drive.

                    • @Lexar ANZ Chris: Legendary! Thank you <3

@Faulty: gen 4 deal is coming up any minute in Australia and NZ, get ready :D
limited quantity, but should be the best deal in BF on ssd

                        • @Lexar ANZ Chris: Thank you Chris! I’m refreshing like a madman 🤣

                        • @Lexar ANZ Chris: Thank you Chris, I am also refreshing like crazy 😂

@Lexar ANZ Chris: Is the BPC price of $299 (4TB no-heatsink) and ($305 heatsink) the deal price? Seems to be and I’m about to pull the trigger pending your reply.

I’m not sure if rules would allow me to post the deal as BPC have no physical stock until early next week.

@Faulty: That is the deal, surprisingly no one post up to OZB yet, sad face
