  • Does it matter whether you get a physical sim or eSIM?

    • Physical sim only esim does not apply

    • I want physical so that I can use eSIM when overseas while still receiving 2FA SMS on Boost. Pretty sure phone can only do 1 eSIM at a time.

  • Is it possible to buy an esim and activate it later, close to 30 days?

    • Esim does not apply read the terms

My expiry date for the current Boost sims are on the 21 Dec but the if I buy now, these sim cards have to be activated before 30 days 😢 Guess I have to accept a 1 month loss and activate it or find another provider

    How's Aldi mobile?

    • Boost much better than Aldi mobile. They got only wholesale network has no international calls and the cheapest plan no longer gives 365 days expiry on that PAYG plan

      • Damn it 😕

Weird, this worked first try for me. Guess I’m the chosen one. Tracked immediately

What sims do you'll use to port out and back in? The $2 sim I got last time wasn't really a $2 sim card - it needed an extra $10 top up? Thanks

  • Done,
Put a reminder for 14th of November to activate to prevent any dramas 😅.

Still got 3 Months remaining with the Old Woolworth Mobile Contract, but it's still more profitable to pay it off 👍

  • For people whose current sim only expires next year (mine is in may or june) ,is there any alternatives / options people are using at the moment or is there no method to get the current plan next year?

I’ve tried like 5 times, doesn’t work. I’ve tried different credit cards, visa debit card, I’ve even tried my passport instead of my license. TAKE MY MONEY

  • Success on my 2nd attempt. Just keep the faith…..

  • Tried using an UP visa debit and worked on 1st time… should i buy lotto?

So is today at 11.59pm the last chance to buy this SIM? Or is there tomorrow too?

    • there is tomorrow too

  • Tried 3 times on W10 PC using Chrome and Edge. Swapped to a different PC. W10 using Firefox and it worked. Solution or coincidence?

  • Can I buy physical Sim and then convert to esim after activation using this deal ?

    • +1

You'd think so? Unless it gets weird because it's a discontinuing plan?

  • I don't know how many tries it took, but it worked. Used Edge and Visa debit.

    I GOT IT WORKING!

VISA Debit doesn't make a difference. I tried 20 times with different cards, credit cards, debit cards, visa cards, mastercards, none of it helped. I tried 4 different browsers across a PC and macbook, none of it worked.

As soon as I changed the address (delivered it to my parents' house instead of my apartment) it went through first time. They might be checking my credentials against an old credit report or something.

For me, changing delivery address is the solution.

    • THANK YOU!

Using a different card worked for me. The card was a Debit MasterCard. I used the same delivery address and email address that I have used for delivering SIMs in the past years.

I must mention that, after failing for dozens of times with different delivery address and email address, I created a temporary Firefox profile so that website does not access to any previous cookies etc. Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles.

Edit: Looking at the JamesWan comment below, it did not need the new browser profile. So just use a different card that has not been used on Boost website before.

  • What is the best option now to buy boost sim without cash rewards? My SIM expiring only in April next year.

  • First one went through with no issues. 2nd (and 3 subsequent attempts) with the same details - no luck :/

    • Ok phew - went through. Same details but different Mastercard it worked

  • I just brought the Topcash one at $80… I knew it would get better :(

    • They are both $85

  • So I'm new to Cashback. Just purchased the $230 through them.
What happens next? How do I know that it has been approved by Cashback?

    • You should have an email from them saying the purchase has been tracked, and if you go to your account it should be marked as pending. It won't be fully approved until you activate the service.

Mine was pretty much instant after checkout

      • Thanks mate! 👍🏽

  • Thank you to the contributors. Tried twice using CBA Credit Mastercard and received the technical issues message. Then success, when I used a Bank First Debit Visa.

  • What if you select $230 will it recharge on that indefinitely?
If I go into boost app and recharge options I have the option there
Or will they remove that after 21/10 even if it’s selected.
My wife has Aldi and it just rolls over onto the plan even though it’s not available for purchase

    • This is prepaid not plan so don't think it automatically does anything at all even under normal circumstances

  • Thanks OP. Got one for me and my wife. Both tracked in about 3 minutes after purchasing.

  • Tracked within minutes

  • Guess this is the best we're going to get then? Might wait it out a little bit longer in the off chance there's a final bump in CB

  • I tried heaps of times, it always said "Sorry, we are unable process your order. Please try again later."
Does anyone know why? I tried different browsers, and filling in manually…

    • Try a new card. I use Zip.
Some people had success with a new address as well. You can also try a different name (just spell it differently?).

  • Refused my cashback offer last time, their customer service was appalling.

Checkout worked first try, tracked instantly

  • Tried again. Again no success. Boost Mobile just sucks.

  • Thanks OP, worked first time for me. Must've got lucky.

  • Received my new Sim, Having errors activating the new sim online, Anyone else having the same issue

i want to keep my number but the bloody activation thing doesn't work!!!!!!!

    • Oof im going to try and port my Telstra post paid across soon. Wish me luck.

      • i'm wishing, but wishing is just wishing, in the real world it just doesn't work!
