      It is unlikely to work, because Shell eGift Cards and AmpolCash Digital gift cards work very differently.

      • Shell eGift Cards are basically a prepaid Visa gift card that has been set up to only work at participating Shell service stations across Australia. They are processed like any other Visa card, which means all you need to do is tell the staff member you want to pay by card. (That also means that if you are at a participating Shell service station that applies a surcharge to Visa payments, you will incur a payment surcharge when redeeming a Shell eGift Card there.)

      • AmpolCash Digital gift cards are a proprietary gift card that is redeemed either by scanning a QR code or entering the gift card number into the checkout. You have to tell the staff member you want to use AmpolCash Digital as a payment method, and if you are purchasing a gift card, some staff will reject your request.

      I have only attempted purchasing gift cards at Ampol Foodary or EG Ampol using physical AmpolCash gift cards (and this was rejected by the checkout each time). I have never tried purchasing gift cards at Ampol Foodary or EG Ampol using an AmpolCash Digital gift card. I have also never tried purchasing a gift card at other types of Ampol service stations (and there are some Ampol-branded service stations that are not EG Ampol nor Ampol Foodary and sell gift cards).

    If the Airbnb. Accomodation has been already been half paid , can the rest be paid with gift cards or is it only by card ?
