    Asus ZENWIFI XT8 2 Pk $599

I paid under $550 from you guys over 3 years ago.
it was first released in jan 2020..so close to 5yrs old.

    • That was an excellent buy.

    • $498 on amazon (free delivery w/prime)

      • That is for European stock from Germany.

        • i don't believe it's a neutered router like the uk version

          the XT9 is also cheaper

  • +16

Q45s are a steal at this price, usually 150 on sale

    • +2

Use these at work due to noisy office. Noise cancellation and a little light music and I can't hear any of it. Great for when you need to focus on a task.

      • +2

Anyone compared Q45s to Liberty 4 NC?

        • +1

cant speak on the q45s, but i have the liberty 4nc. I bought it after seeing rave reviews on youtube etc. Ive only ever used the airpod pros - and comparatively, these are quite a few steps below in terms of noise cancelling and overall use experience. I just didnt think the difference would be so great, since i assumed tech usually catches up on basic matters such as NC … but evidently not. its a decent backup tho.

        • +1

I have them both and sound quality is good with both of them. Noise cancelling is also great on both but I think the q45s are slightly better at NC because they are headphones.

Both of them are great in a noisy office and with a little music you can block out all outside noise in most environments.

They are different products and I use them in different situations, so it's up to you to decide whether you want something bigger with an incredibly long battery and an overall better sound quality or something pocketable that will give you 85% of the experience you'd get from the other.

          • @peskyMatt: Thanks for the insight! Personally myself I've got the Liberty 4 NC pods and Bose QCII 35s headphones. And the settings for the Ankers in app give you far greater control than Boses'.

I've found the Ankers to be more useful overall - and they have allowed me to sleep. Whoever invented NC, thank you! I only use the Bose for watching and some switch gaming.

            • +1

@cobknob: Just for info, there was a firmware update for Bose qc45 to allow anc and wind detection to be adjusted. Not sure if that applies to Bose qc35 too?

              • @Binggggo: That would be good… How about a method to increase audio volume? I've found it to be a bit on the low side.

      • I've been using these at home with a 3.5mm cable + boom mic. The passive noise isolation on these are quite great.

        • Coiled cable or straight. I'm looking to get a very-well insulated coil cable cause my current cable you get interference from cable movement.

          • @cobknob: Straight cable, no interference that I've experienced. Although, my cable is slightly textured. When this texture scrapes along something e.g. my shirt, the textured sound travels back into the cups and is amplified by the housing. It's not terrible, but it may be something that is noticed

    • Yeah damn good price. Had mine for a year and very happy

    • +1

I paid $145 few months ago. Damn a good price is $95

    • Fragile though. Most of the soundcore bands start to crack. Had multiple crack, when the 2nd one did it and I got warranty one I didn’t bother to open it and gave to partner. To be fair though I have a wide head. Got some one more or something as they are apparently better fit..beside the gawd awful voice it uses it’s been fine but early days

  • +2

It appears to be the lowest price im aware of.

I just placed an order. $110 including shipping to Victoria.

  • Thanks Op got the Q45s - baaaarrrrrrrgggggaaaaaaaiiiiin :)

  • Are the Q45's better than the "Space One"? In terms of build? I accidently bought them instead of the q45 and sold them on for feeling a bit too light and plasticky to survive bag travel.

    • They're better reviewed and higher spec.. but I've not worn Space One so can't compare them directly

    • Yes definitely

    • Space one is 100% plastic even the headband and early on I remember seeing someone who snapped it and it was hollow inside. looked like the plastic was thin as well so not good.

a few months ago someone commented on the Q45 deal saying even though headband is metal the hinge where it folds is all plastic and it snapped. ymmv.

      • I meant someone posted a photo of their snapped space one headband.

  • +1

Any reason not to buy the Q45s? I'm looking for some multipoint so I don't need to switch on my HTPC and Apple TV.

However, I have 5 sets of headphones (and 6 sets of earbuds) already and am risking divorce. Should I just go buy XM5s instead?

    • risking divorce

      Lol 😂

What are the 5 sets of headphones and 6 sets of earbuds u own?

      • +2

I actually just realised my XM3s have multipoint, so that solves my switching problem! Dunno how I never realised that.

XM3s for HTPC, cheap Phillips ones for the Apple TV, Fidelio X3s for music, MDR-7506 for playing guitar, Corsair wireless HS80 for work (so comfy), wired jabra ones for work and looking remotely professional. I guess that's 6. edit: Forgot my AKGs, two pairs of those too

Earbuds are probably more than 6, off the top of my head Airpod Pro 2s (mostly commuting/work), Jabra 7 active (exercise), Mee pebbles (sleeping), Echo Buds ($10 lol), couple of Anker ones, Soundpeats TE3, jabra 65t I now use while gardening. There's a few pairs lying around in other parts of the house (and plenty of wired ones I don't use at all) that I'll sometimes just chuck in when my airpods go flat.

I could just use the XM3s and Airpods, I know. But I keep seeing bargains and I think I have a use for them.

        • You like the Mee Pebbles?

          • +1

@nuts: Not really, I'm thinking about grabbing a pair of A10s here too. They don't work laying on my side (seems to create a weird pressure issue and loses volume).

            • @freefall101: Yeah as a fellow side-sleeper they don't look the part

        • +2

You should try AirPods Pro and Spatial Audio with Apple TV

        • I actually just realised my XM3s have multipoint, so that solves my switching problem

multipoint seems to work different on different headphones.

I got Beoplay Portal headphones on sale which I use for videos, they make no sound when switching and it seems to auto connect to whichever device I’m closer to.

I got Sony’s ULT Wear recently and they connect to two devices at the same time (it shows in the app connected to both). so every time you switch them on they will connect to both and make the connected sound twice. then they will play sound from whichever one you press play on.

    • +4

Divorce sounds expensive. Definitely not a bargain!

    • +1

I bought refurbished XM4s and they are great, but I still go back to the Bose QC45 as they are the most comfortable. I have the Q30, but never really use them, they feel a bit cheap. But for $99 I would go for the Q45s just to see if they are any good.

    • @freefall79 Is "headphone" a code word ;) ?

    • Not as good as my qc25's on all fronts, not sure how how the xm5s would compare

    • Any reason not to buy the Q45s?

comment on previous deal said the folding hinge snapped. ymmv. most comments here on ozb were positive.

  • Anyone using EZVIZ EB and can share their experience?

  • A10s vs Liberty 4 NC? I currently use the Liberty for sleep - side sleep sucks though. It does cancel out noise quite well and the monster exhaust fan that runs in the bathroom.

    • +1

Keep in mind there is an A20 out which has better battery life.

  • +3

I have the q45s, and the noise cancelling is great… However compared to my Bose quiet comfort 25/35… They are heavy and bulky. If you wear for a long time you will feel it, eg. A long flight. Especially if you swap back to the Bose, they are feather weight in comparison. At $100, is an excellent price for light use at home or short flights.

    • +3

Depends on your head size too. They're great headphones for big heads, relatively low clamp force compared to competitors when spread wide. I bought them to replace xm4s that I found uncomfortable.

    • +1

  • +1

Good price for the Q45s but I can't recommend them. Not enough compression head force to stay on, not adjustable enough. They look nice. And after EQ sound alright. Okay ANC. But yeah. This is the price they should be at retail.

  • How does Space Q45 compare to the Life Q30?
I enjoy the Q30, but I'm not a fan of the build quality (both pairs I owned cracked within a year).

    • I also have the q30, multiple of them, and I haven't experienced the cracking you mention of. Q45 are better build in terms of chunkier and bulkier, still all plastic including hinges.

  • Thanks OP, have been waiting for these to go down to $99 again for months, finally purchased

  • No Anker A20 sleepbuds?

  • +2

Q45 are a complete steal at this price. Bought two pairs, merry Christmas to the folks!

  • +1

Q45s are top close to the top headphones ive ever owned at ANY price point.

  • +2

Don't buy the Anker A10 sleepbuds. They don't last a full night. The A20s are much better and worth the extra.

  • Love my Q45s

  • Anyone have any experience with using Sony WH-1000XM4 compared to Anker Soundcore Space Q45?

    • The Sony is definitely better only if you would like to pay 3 or 4 times more! Otherwise the Q45 does the job just as good, if you don't compare them side by side.

  • Thanks OP - grabbed Q45s as the kiddo's set of headphones to somehow destroy in 2025

  • Great price for the Q45.

  • +1

$99 for the Q45s is a serious bargain. The battery life of these things is class leading - 50 hours with ANC turned on i incredible - which probably explains why they are a bit bulkier than the competition - they have a bigger battery.

Check out this review of them vs the Sony WH-1000XM4's where they came out on par. At $99 you can't go wrong.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9LKa9YgWd0

    • While Q45 is indeed the bargain at this price, the review shared is one of the sloppiest reviews I've ever seen - it seems it was posted solely for Amazon affiliate referrals.

I have them both and use Q45 as everyday driver, while I use XM4 for any overseas flights. While I took Q45 on flights and it works OK, Sony really shines in the area of ANC. Also Sony is better for zoom/phone calls.

Given that Q45 gives you 80% of XM4 performance for 1/3 of the price, I would buy Q45 again without any hesitation.

  • All these comments fomo'ed me into buying one. I don't need this :-(
    Thanks OP.

  • I'm placing an order now but I was curious, the Soundcore Space Q45 do not include free postage - so for me they are not $99 but $111.79 at best?

    • +4

I thought the same - once you enter the promo code, go back to the details and shipping page and the free option turns up.

      • damn didnt know this… i missed out!

        • +1

Wouldn't hurt to contact them and see if they'll refund the shipping costs.

      • +1

Can confirm @darktiger is correct, thanks your post saved me the postage and got free delivery

      • +1

Damn I didn't know that either, I clicked around for a while too but must have missed it :-( Oh well, still good for $111.79 :-) Thanks for your help!

    • +1

Thank you! I was struggling to decide but $99 shipped I will have a multi link capable headphone for office.. my Jabra and pixel bud pro ear buds for some reason started to my ears inflamed and oozing

      • I have the same with pixel bud pro's, after 2.5-3 hours my ears start to ache.

    • Yes I just bought a pair of the Q45's less than an hour ago, there was the option to pay for postage or choose free postage?!
It seemed like there was a catch but the payment went through along with the confirmation that it was indeed $99.

  • What sleep buds is everyone using ? Just moved into an apartment …. can hear my next door neighbour + my housemate. I chuck on my bose qc35s but I'm a side sleeper :(

  • How are the Q45s for working out?

    • Too big and unstable (loose)

    • Perfect.

  • A10 goes zzz

  • Q45 is out of stock :( Any chance it will be restocked?

  • expired

  • Missed out on Q45…pls add more stocks

  • -1

God dammit. I had the Q45s in my cart and then got distracted.

  • Damnit my Dad's birthday today and he wants wireless headphones, guess I missed out on Q45 :(

  • Anyone's order shipped out yet?

    • No because I got a phone call this morning that they don't have stock and won't get any to fulfil any orders made, so order was cancelled and refunded.

    • I got mine today. Excited

      • Lucky you.. Still waiting

  • +1

Also received a call saying they couldn't fulfill and cancelling order.

Not happy but not much can be done I guess.

  • I also got a call from Wireless 1 saying they could not fulfill the order. I told them I was prepared to wait, even if the order was delayed.
They are now sending me emails saying they can't fulfill the order, (see below)
Hi there, I hope this message finds you well. Our team would like to inform you that unfortunately we have to cancel the Anker Soundcore Space Q45 Active Noise
Cancelling Wireless Headphones - Black that you ordered because we don't have an ETA for the unit. Please let us know if we can proceed to cancel your order.
    Kind regards, Wireless 1 Team

So I've told them no please do not proceed to cancel my order.
I'm not sure I'm getting these headphones though, it's a bummer as I have been waiting weeks for them to go on sale only to be told you missed out!
Even though you already paid for them!!
