Yeah the GT-BE98 is capable of nbn 2Gbps.
Be96u is $798.57
Note: New model GT-BE19000AI coming soon. It’s marketed as "AI-driven" with an NPU (neural processing unit) and 4GB DDR4 RAM.

No idea why you’d need an NPU in your router.
So it generate rubbish while you are offline so you feel like you are still connected
pic looks like a ufo that crash landed lol
can it be mesh with XT9?
Yeah you can.
LAN VLAN supported?
Wtaf, at this price point just buy a mini PC and access point, install pf sense, and use it as a file/media/other server….
Future proof as you only need to change the access point and nic to get faster speeds.
I don't see a point in buying something like this currently. If you're going to get a 2Gbps plan (and don't feel like going down the x86 route) I guess this makes a little sense.. but not until the plans come out cause the price could drop until then (and there could be cheaper routers that may be able to do 2Gbps anyway).
I'd recommend just buying a cheap switch, a x86 box from AliExpress <$300, and choosing your software of choice. I have OPNsense on the SSD and when i feel like fiddling around i have bootable USBs with Tomato, OpenWRT, DD-WRT etc. they all work flawlessly. No Wi-Fi 7 devices so i use my Asus AX86U Pro as an AP until i start upgrading the tech in my home.
will it support the new nbn speeds?
