is it good for gaming ? like wii controller

Could easily mistake this thing for an airmouse but it's got no gyroscope or any motion sensor of the sort, no swinging action at all.

It's only a handheld thumb-controlled trackball, think 360 degree wheel, pushing and pulling the cursor around every which way would indeed become tiresome for gaming, but could surprise for some genres?

I ordered one for web navigation and media control; and to try pairing with a Google TV. Its incremental mouse movement should help to better keep track of the cursor. Because the cursor shouldn't jump all over the place no matter the placement of this controller? I’m probably so wrong about that, what's the bet and likelihood it fails the upside down test?

feel like ya thumb would get a bit tired with this

      • I've been using trackball move like this for almost 20 years now. Currently on the MX Ergo.

    • I've used trackballs almost exclusively for over a decade. My thumb is fine.

I'm picturing your thumb looking like Quagmire's arm after he discovered internet pron.

    • That would be the equivalent of your wrist getting tired after using a regular mouse, well maybe your other wrist.
