    If you want to get into the TP-Link Tapo IoT ecosystem (or you are already using Tapo products), you should grab the D230S1 instead.

    While it costs about $50-$60 more, it comes with a Matter-enabled H200 Hub (an open standard) and also to Tapo's own line of smart home stuff and the battery is also user removable

    Wish they had some PoE versions that integrates with the Omada gear. Would really like something similar to the Unifi ecosystem.

      There are two hardwired versions, D235 which is available here, D130 can be purchased via Amazon US.

    Used 230 and It hardly lasts a month if you have motion detection on. Don't believe the 6 month battery bullshit. Sometimes there is a delay for the notification to come on phone. Otherwise it's a good bell and you don't have to subscribe to anything as well.

      The original battery mine came with only lasted a few weeks.

      I did buy a second battery because I didn't want any downtime when charging, and this battery has been going for 4 months (with motion detection) and it's still on 55%.

      Will see what battery life is like when I swap back to the first, but I'm happy with mine.
