$5 each at Silly Sollys discount chains across Brisbane. They are not worth $12each.
These do nothing. Flies quickly figure out these aren't a threat. You need unpredictable sudden movement, not this dumb thing spinning around.
Flies will happily buzz around a horse moving around. It's the unexpected swoosh of their tail that scares them away.
I always chuckle to myself when I see these at BBQs and flies are happily shitting on food right next to these stupid things spinning around.

It's not intelligence. It's instinct. Things in the environment are always moving. If a fly never landed near anything moving, it would never land.
I have a few of these and they work well.
