  • Code is 5 dollars but that are only giving $3.75. Why?

    • Poor marketing wording but it takes your default 1.25 bonus up to 5 dollars.

This is pretty cool. I generally get a local sim when travelling, but have been hopping around to a few different places with just a day or two at each stop. I was able to get the referral bonus plus the free credit and I topped up $5US. It's been working great to have as between countries where I'm getting sim cards and saved me from paying the tourist fee to get higher priced sim cards at the airport vs going into town as well. Make sure you add the referral bonus as well if you're going to top up. Just fyi that I was a little worried as you don't add codes before signing up, but after and in the app. Thanks OP!

Roamless worked well in Hungary & Romania with my Moto G54, on my recent trip.

Eskimo was better in Budapest as it connected to a network instantly, whereas roamless could take upto two minutes. No biggie if you leave it connected. Speeds & reliability were good for both.
Seamless switching back and forth between e-sims. They both use a variety of telcos depending on location.
When my free credits run out, I'll happily reload roamless and eskimo.

Sidenote. The roamless app has a section that alleges you can make voip calls. I could not get it to work in any country, including Australia, using data of wifi.

    • Thanks for the detailed review. It helps me choose the esim for my upcoming trip

I'm currently in Singapore and experienced the same slow connection response with Roamless, it would take a couple minutes to connect to a network while my Red Bull eSim would connect pretty much instantly.

Roamless has emailed me and provided OzBargain and exclusive code to also give US$5 ($1.25 + $3.75 = 2GB data) for new customers.
